  • "The Lodge was absolutely beautiful, it has everything you need it was clean and smelt amazing."

The beds are so comfy we all had the best sleep. The hot tub is amazing specially when you've been out all day it's something to look forward to, to chill in after a long day. We will definitely come back and stay again

  • "Lily lodge is very comfortable, stylish and clean and is in a quiet location."

In particular, the beds are comfortable and the showers are powerful. Hot tub is fabulous and was checked regularly by Clint so was always in a very good condition. We found the Wifi to be very fast, which was helpful. We felt Lily Lodge was a warm and restful place to be during the couple of rainy days that we had during stay. The facilities are great although some of the kitchen ware is a little basic, but we brought some cooking essentials with us like salt and we mainly bought some ready meals to put into the oven, so, it was fine for us. We definitely made the right choice in booking this Lodge for a rest and peace and quiet in the countryside. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Lodge.

  • "Lovely Lodge."

Comfortable, spacious and quiet location despite it being a holiday park. Bit of a drive to beaches but the hot tub was a welcome reward for the driving.

  • "Lily Lodge was amazing, real well presented, loved the little welcome touches and we had a great stay."

Great location and we made the most of the surrounding areas even with the rubbish weather! Lodge was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Will defintely return. Thank you to the owners who also changed our booking from February to March with no hassle at all after a family emergency - customer service has been great both with them and Skyes Cottages. Thank you.

Very pleased you enjoyed your stay despite the weather & hopefully you went home relaxed after a stressful time. Next time you visit hopefully the sun will be shining! Property Owner

The property was clean and well kept this is the 2nd time I have stayed here and I would highly recommend it.

We are glad that everything was to your satisfaction especially as it was your second visit. It is a great boost when we find out someone has enjoyed their stay so much that they have booked again. Hopefully we may see you again! Property Owner

Owners gave us a chocolate cake and Prosecco - the cake was amazing. Everything was spot on, we all really enjoyed ourselves for new years. Beds was really comfy and comfy pillows. Would definitely visit again!

So pleased you enjoyed your stay, you certainly had a busy few days reading your comments in the visitors book. Would love to see you again especially as we wouldn’t have known anyone had stayed if it hadn’t been for the stripped beds as you left the lodge so clean! Property Owner

  • "Great place clean and spacious, beautiful area within walking distance to lake with plenty to relax including cafe for a stop:) However jacuzzi wasn't clean during our 5 days there, perhaps it was checked but we didn't see anyone coming?"

Also it's super dog friendly and tbh I booked it because on the website it looked like it's fully fenced unfortunately it wasn’t so not great for dogs as they had to stay in doors instead. If I could change one think it would be fence all over the property, however that was my personal needs, overall A* place and lodge and would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you so much :)

So glad you enjoyed your stay in Lily, it was a shame the weather wasn’t better for you. Unfortunately Roadford Lake Park will not allow us to erect a fence around the lodge but we do provide a very long dog line that can be attached at either end of the patio area so that your dog can move about securely. We do the changeovers & maintain the hot tub ourselves not the site as we live locally. The hot tub water was changed for your arrival & my husband did come up to the lodge on the Sunday, Monday & Tuesday in between rain showers during your 4 day stay to check the hot tub but unfortunately on both occasions you were out as he always likes to introduce himself, hopefully on you next visit he may catch up with you. • "We had a lovely week at Lily."

Had everything we needed. Very clean and a nice touch with the complimentary cream tea. The location to the lake made it easy for walks with the dog. The weather wasn’t on our side, but sitting in the hot tub in the rain was still a relaxing time

Thank you for your lovely comments it is greatly appreciated Property Owner

  • "This is a new lodge and new site, the slatted blinds in the bedrooms do not prevent the early morning light, so having a lie in is not an option."

Unfortunately the bedding is not of great quality with bobbled flannel sheets and poor quality duvet and pillow cases. We did experience a lot of rain and this appeared to bring out hundreds of blow fly lava all over the patio area making a trip to the hot tub a horrible experience.

The property was spotlessly clean and the sight was small and secluded so perfect for quiet break will definitely return and I highly recommend it .

  • "Beautiful location and beautifully well kept."

Very welcoming, homely cabin and clean site and facilities. Everything as described and more, used as a central base for a 5 day trip around Cornwall. Whilst staying we visited, Bude, Tintagel, St Ives, St Michael’s mount, Newquay, land’s end and more.. all within easy access driving distances, and the bonus of a hot tub waiting on return for a peaceful evening to relax. Owners was very pleasant, a genuine accommodation and I will be returning in the summer paddle boards and wetsuit ready.

So pleased they all enjoyed their stay & the hot tub was a hit with the children & everything was satisfactory for them. Would love to see them again & hopefully get to do the things they didn’t have time for on this trip. Property Owner

The lodge was spacious enough for 6 adults and was furnished to a high standard. It was clean and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. The host was really responsive to emails which was helpful. We would definitely return.

Even with only a few hours notice the owners accomodated us. The place was absolutely spotless! Perfect few nights away. Had great facilities i even managed to cook a roast in the kitchen! The hot tub was bliss! Loved the added touch of some games included. Lovely cafe within walking distance. Had a great time despite the rain! If i had to add one comment it would be for the master bedroom to upgrade to a kingsize bed but thats me being super picky and used to a superking at home!! Great lodge. Highly recommended.

W.e did experience a problem when the weather turned bad and asked reception for help as you do just to be told it had nothing to do with them so we decided to pack up and come home early and have since been in contact with the owners and they have sorted it all out and we plan to go back next year they realy are very nice people.

It really is a stunning place, so clean and with absolutely everything you could need provided! The beds were very comfortable and the open plan lounge/kitchen provided a lovely family space to chill on a wet evening. The hot tub was amazing and there is so much to do nearby. Our children (aged 10 and 11) loved the holiday and didn't miss the beach at all! They enjoyed it so much, the TV wasn't switched on once all week!

  • "Lodge was very nice, however, holiday was ruined by noisy building work as the site is still under construction (lodge opposite was being worked on from 8am until after 6pm on most days)."

Reception not helpful and rude as Lily lodge is the only lodge managed through Sykes and not through Roadford Lake Lodges so they failed to inform us or the owners of the building work commencing. Left early to the sound of a JCB and a wacker plate!

Unfortunately we were not informed by Roadford Lake that the patio was being laid at the lodge opposite to ours that week so we were unable to inform our guests of the work being undertaken. Due to the disruption Compensation was agreed through Sykes on the proviso a negative review wasn’t posted but the guests have renegade on that agreement! The guests didn’t leave early as they left on the 21st which was their actual checkout date. All works on our phase of the site have been completed & therefore there should be no further disruptions to guests. To date we have had ten bookings in our lodge & everyone has written very positive comments in our guest book. Property Owner
