"We had a lovely stay at Oakwood."
We found the property to be a perfect stay for a family of 4. My 2 boys loved the bunk beds and we loved waking up to beautiful Countryside views. In the kitchen was all the equipment we needed and was an added bonus with child plates etc. The swimming pool is such a treat and is a lovely temperature. The park was quiet and friendly. We was very lucky with the weather and got to sit outside my only suggestion would be more comfy garden furniture. There is lovely walks from the cabin, close to Lyme Regis and fossil hunting in charmouth. We enjoyed dining at a lovely pub in branscombe, Beer and Axmouth. We will be back.

"The property is in need of a facilities upgrade."
Double beds need new mattresses. Outdoor furniture provided is outdated. Shower facilities are unusable for anyone other than children. Decking when wet is treacherous - needs cleaning and testing with non slip agent.
I Husband recently passed away so rely on Lyme bay who are now Sykes to look after the property for me x Property Owner

"This lodge was disgusting - it was dated filthy scary revolting - it looked like someone lived there and had just popped out - how you can expect the public to rent this is beyond me - I felt sick when I arrived with my family - we were told we couldn’t have an exchange unless we paid again and there was nothing they could do - a lovely couple arrived to see what the problem was and they freshened it up but they realised how bad it was and that no one would pay to stay there - there were cobwebs hanging from the ceilings and it was generally grubby and definitely needs demolishing - everyone was scared to sleep there as it was like a cabin from a horror film but we had no choice - I would never book with Sykes again and am so disappointed in your handling of this situation."
The people who run the site were lovely and said they had had complaints before - I feel ill even writing this. You ruined our holiday.
