  • "Our hosts, Penny and Paul were extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable about places to visit."

They made us feel very comfortable from when we first arrived. The cottage has everything you need and beds were very comfortable. The cockerel and chickens visited us everyday and were highly amusing. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Milking Parlour and hope to return another time

We are so glad that you enjoyed your holiday here with us on the farm. It was lovely to have you stay with us and hope to see you soon. Property Owner

Nice accommodation run by two lovely people- marvellous location being midway to both coasts - shame about the traffic both ways being too long when travelling with a baby - would go again as a couple though

  • "Very relaxing and enjoyable break."

Penny & Paul were very welcoming and the accommodation is comfortable and well equipped with lots of character. Quiet and peaceful location but also well connected just off the A3072 with easy access to the north Devon coast, Cornwall and Dartmoor.

  • "We were met on arrival by our very friendly hosts who showed us around the cottage."

It was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. we made friends with the chickens and met some of the animals. It was a very peaceful site, and we would most certainly re-visit in the future.

  • "What a hidden gem this really is."

We did not want to leave. Penny and Paul are so welcoming and they were so good with our two kids (age 3 and nearly 2). Kids fed the animals and loved being on the farm. We have had the most amazing holiday and this cottage is just perfect. Super kid friendly and we can't recommend this place enough.

  • "Amazing place!"

Penny and Paul are the perfect hosts. They were full of local knowledge with hints and tips. The cottage truly is a little peace of heaven which is full of character. The land that it sits on was amazing to explore. It's well equipped with everything you could possibly need and super comfortable. The location is perfect, 30 minutes from Bude beach but also central to explore all surrounding areas. Bike trails on your doorstep which was a bonus for us. The property grounds are also home to some very friendly animals including George the goose, Alfred the goat and Hugo the donkey ( who loves a good scratch behind his ears). I really cant speak highly enough of this place and we will definitely be returning to explore the area in another season.
