  • "Lovely cottage - the owners had thought of everything and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

130 steps door to door from the tower pub and 300 from the queens arms both which are very welcoming and serve excellent food.

  • "Lovely clean cottage in very pretty village."

Comfy too with just enough space for 4 adults. I'd asked for the zip link bed to be a double but wasn't. So struggled with single bedding for 5 days. No iron or ironing board even though there are laundry facilities. In agreement with lots of feedback, there is no enclosed garden, whatever the owner may say! It's just a gated area between 2 houses. Patio area is nice though, but not secure for children or dogs, so do bear in.mind. Good stay overall.

  • "This is a lovely property in a gorgeous village with a fantastic pub a few minutes walk away."

Easy access (by car) to the local area - beaches, coastal path walks and crabbing in Dartmouth. As stated in the description, the approach to the parking is very tight but manageable! We would definitely go back.

  • "It stated that it had an enclosed garden which it did not."

It had a small piece of old driveway which had a gate either end. If I had known this I would have not booked. The cottage was clean but would not be suitable for 4 adults as the living room was small and only had seating for 3. I was surprised that nothing was included so anyone booking needs to bring with them tea coffee Salt pepper cleaning sponges kitchen roll etc.

Hi Sally, Sorry to hear of your disappointment. Whilst the cottage is small, it is suitable for 4 persons and no previous 4 person bookings have referenced this. I would like to advise as follows; 1. The garden is small but a garden none the less. The area is grassed but not manicured as the area has been given over to wildflowers. The gate could have been opened. 2. There is a 3 seater settee and an occasional chair in the living room so in total, suitable for 4 persons. The dining room too seats 4 persons. 3. Cleaning sponges and cleaning equipment should have been included - my apologies if this were not the case - they are usually left for guests use in the sink area. 4. The information relating to the cottage on the Sykes website does not make any reference to the provision of basic staples. Property Owner

  • "We had a amazing week in Wrens nest a beautiful, luxury and peaceful property."

The property had everything you needed and was finished to a high quality. The village was very peaceful with 2 pubs had some lovely food at the Tower inn the only down side was the lanes are very narrow and the drive way was hard to reverse down as very narrow. We would stop there again very nice
