  • "Needs a nest of tables."

Fridge was too close to the boiler. Bathroom door is squeaky. Microwave too low down. Bath was very difficult to get into when you are in your 60s/70s, so why not have a walk-in shower?

  • "Lovely cosy cottage very clean and everything that you could want is there."

Very comfortable beds . Our dog Bella thoroughly enjoyed her stay and the little garden was ideal for her and fully enclosed. The woods were great for her walks with sticks being her favourite she was spoilt for choice. Would definitely recommend this cosy homely cottage .

  • "The cottage met our needs perfectly and was a very nice place to stay and well located for day trips to the north Devon coast and Dartmoor."

Ben and Linda are delightful and we had a few nice chats with Ben over the week and I learnt a bit more about dairy farming! We both enjoyed the holiday and really appreciated being able to take our persian cat as well. Many thanks and hopefully will return in the future.

Hello James , Thankyou for your feedback and I’m glad your cat also enjoyed it. ! Property Owner

  • "Great Welcome from Linda who also gave us a few ideas of places to visit."

Cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay and the bed was so comfortable. As the garden is fenced all round it was very safe for our dog to wander around. We really didn’t want to leave. It deserves more than a five star review Tina, Steve and Tia the dog

  • "Very cosy and comfy barn conversion."

Ideally located for Dartmoor, and Cornwall, where we popped over to during our stay. Okehampton can be reached on foot via the woods round the corner. Castle is definately worth a visit. So much to see and do on Dartmoor. A bit of info on Lydford Gorge. Land slips have restricted the best parts of the Gorge for the forseeable future. (As at 06/24). Best check before you go. Nice to meet Linda and her dad, Ben. Very friendly. I recommend the Barn. And don't forget to star gaze through the bedroom windows. Superb!

It was warm and cosy on arrival and we had all that we needed, plus plenty of space for the two of us and our large dog to be comfortable for the week. The location is great! Peaceful, tranquil, away from it all... yet handy for local shopping and easy access to Dartmoor and its many attractions. Highly recommended!

  • "Very nice small barn conversion with everything you needed."

Lovely welcome pack to start the holiday off. Enclosed yard was perfect for our dog, as were the walks just minutes away in the woods and down to the river for a swim. Rural location was easy to find and far enough away from the town to be very quiet and dark at night, great for star gazing. Mountain biking in the woods was also a treat and loads of trails to choose from. Would definitely stay again.

Thankyou Paul, Amanda and family for your feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner
