The property

Eden House is a conveniently located Victorian duplex apartment in Lynton - right on the South West Coastal path and The Valley of the Rocks, and within a picturesque village with full amenities.

Lynton is an ancient village with narrow winding streets and much history.There are many shops, cafes, pubs antique shops and restaurants to visit - as well as art galleries, a museum, and even a tiny cinema seating just sixteen!

A prime location within Exmoor National Park, with elevated views over the village, this property sleeps up to six people, appealing to families or friends.

After entering the property, you will need to take the left hand door marked ‘The Top Flat’ up the stairs, to the homely kitchen/diner with all the kit you need to rustle up home-cooked meals, with seating for up to six guests.

The sitting room is spacious and warm, with a 50" Smart TV and enhanced by the woodburning fire and views over this charming village and on to Exmoor hills, and there is also a full bathroom with shower on this floor and a snug playroom with a TV for the children’s entertainment.

Up on the second floor is a contemporary shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, and three bedrooms; a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a double room and another twin room with an alcove to sit gaze out of the window to the view of Exmoor National Park.

Outside, you can unwind in the private South facing garden area at the front of the property with a cup of tea ahead of setting out for the day.

Eden House is located in Exmoor National Park and there is plenty of scenery along this Southern Coast to explore; There are many fabulous mapped walking trails starting from the village, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, to stop, rest and refuel at.

If you are a thrill seeker – just a short walk away is The world's steepest water-powered railway - The Lynton & Lynmouth Funicular Cliff railway.

The spectacular Valley of Rocks is also just a few minutes’ walk away, and a great coastal walk with many wild goats to photograph! Other popular family visits are: Tarr Steps, The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway at Woody Bay Station and Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, a fun day out for families - don’t miss the spectacular sea lion show. If you prefer a more relaxed approach, Lynmouth’s pebbled Blacklands Beach is walkable or the famous sandy beaches of Croyde, Morthoe and Woolacombe are just a short drive.
