  • "Could have been so lovely."

... Sadly, the property was very tired and in need of thorough a freshen up. We've never encountered so many items within a holiday home that were broken or didn't work. Cleanliness wasn't the best, with mould present in every room too. We found mouldy crockery in the cupboard. The property smelt damp and unpleasant. We came home a day early, to avoid having to sleep in the uncomfortable beds another night. Can't say we will be returning.

  • "This was a clean and comfortable property."

Plenty of space and well furnished. It was really well located for dog walks, with routes around forests and the lim path down to town or the sea. Our only niggle was road noise. Effort had gone into sound proofing the bedrooms but the windows in the bathrooms were hard to close meaning noise still got in.

  • "This was our second stay in this beautiful cottage, really well maintained and lots of added extras, outdoor space still a bit tired and could do with a bit of a spruce up, still It was nice to have somewhere to sit out on a warm evening."

Handy bus stop across the road and lots of lovely walks for our dog. The walk alone the river to Lyme Regis is a must. The private parking space just across the lane is a God send. We’ll be back.

  • "The property was perfect."

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The outdoor space could do with a bit of TLC. Having our own parking space was an added bonus.

  • "Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the outside space unable to use that facility and also the steps to it."

We are mobile people. Unable to use allocated parking space on first night as someone a local had used it.

We do apologise if you felt the outside space wasn't usable. As a local agent in Lyme we would have happily attended to it if notified during your stay. Parking spaces are like gold dust in Lyme, and sometimes people will park without thinking of others. Again, if contacted at the time we would have assisted you with this. • "Accommodation adequate but nothing special."

TV kept switching itself on at random time including the middle of the night. Sheets and bathroom fine and clean but living area floor filthy upon arrival. Kids ware bathed and barefooted and within the hour their feet were filthy from the floor. Beds seemed fine until we stripped the beds before departure. Mattresses dirty. First night ok but then on second day evening it was really hot on the apartment as the radiators were on full. The place even smelt hot! Thermostat wasn’t working so had to turn rad valves to frost setting. Wouldn’t book again.

  • "Had a lovely stay, cooking facilities was great with a big kitchen."

We are glad we weren't very tall as the ceiling in the living room was quite low, it wasn't a problem for us. Wifi was a bit weak in the main bedroom. We had a toilet issue but it was dealt with straightaway. I thought we would have traffic noise through the night as the place was close to a main road but we slept very well. Definitely go back again if we were going back to Lyme Regis
