  • "Excellent bungalow , obviously recently refurbished, beds really comfy ."

Really well equipped kitchen , they seem to have thought of everything anyone could need . Living room could possibly do with another small sofa or two more chairs as not enough seating for six people . Really lovely welcome bag with local produce which is a nice surprise. Fabulous views and lovely walks down to Lyme Regis . Had a tasty meal at the Talbot pub just down the hill . Difficult access to the bungalow for anyone using walking sticks or wheelchairs but fine for anyone else . Curtains in bedroom not blackout and no blinds which let in the light in a morning which might concern some people . Lovely friendly staff on site , all very welcoming and the grounds all beautifully kept . Had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend this lovely quiet bungalow to anyone wishing to stay in this area .

Thank you for your lovely review and the feedback on your recent visit, we are really pleased that you had a brilliant stay and hope you can visit again. Property Owner

  • "We stayed for a 3 night stay in February and it was very peaceful with beautiful views of Uplyme."

The property is well equipped, Beds very comfortable and whole house beautifully clean. We felt the lounge let the property down as a little empty (boarded up fireplace and TV positioned behind the door) also paint was peeling off hall ceiling.

Thank you for the feedback , I am pleased that you liked the views and found the beds comfortable and the property beautifully clean. We have just finished refurbishing the property ready to holiday let. We hope you can visit again. Property Owner

A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and near the popular UNESCO Jurassic Coast, this cottage is ideally suited for those keen to explore all that the area has to offer.

Perfectly suited for couples or families, Hook Farm Cottage is a bright and spacious three-bedroom bungalow, with a contemporary interior.

Set in an elevated position the cottage enjoys far reaching views from the lounge and the bedrooms, overlooking the village of Uplyme and the Devon countryside beyond.

The lounge is tastefully furnished and is the perfect spot for sitting back and relaxing, maybe watching the TV or catching up on a good book.

The sleek, well-fitted kitchen/diner is situated at the rear of the cottage which overlooks the garden, and when it comes to mealtimes, there is a family dining table in the kitchen; alternatively, the south facing garden is the perfect spot for dining alfresco and enjoying the tranquil location.

The bedrooms, two king-sizes and a twin, are all stylish and comfortably furnished for a restful night’s sleep.

The family bathroom, another smart and well-thought-out room, is also located on this floor.

When it comes to the area, the village of Uplyme is only a short walk away and has a popular village pub, The Talbot Arms, a small convenience store, and a village church.

Guests are also welcome to use the facilities at the neighbouring campsite including food events and a well-stocked shop with fresh bakery which is open during the main season (please check opening times during your stay).

Enjoy delightful and picturesque riverside walks from Uplyme to Lyme Regis, a spectacular seaside town with its family-friendly beaches, famous cobb harbour and other popular visitor attractions including the Marine Aquarium.

Other popular days out include the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth or The Heritage Coast centre at Charmouth, a place to learn about the area’s diverse geological history and pick up tips about fossil hunting on the shores.

Hook Farm Cottage is the ideal location for a holiday the whole family can enjoy.

Please note that although this is a bungalow with accommodation on one level, there are steps to the front of the property to access.
