Hi Edmund Thank you for your 5 star review. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the amazing walking from the Barn and also further afield. I think you had fairly wet and windy weather but we are pleased you found the cottage cosy and comfortable from the comments made in the visitor book. Hi Simon Thank you very much for your 5 star review and so pleased you liked the cottage. The walking is excellent from the Barn and we are very lucky that the Two Moors Way/Mariners Way literally passes outside our door. There are some great places to walk to such as Castle Drogo NT, Grimspound and the well known Warren House Inn. We would welcome you back to stay again. With best wishes. • "Excellent property, very tastefully done, spotlessly clean every thing you could need, one little thing for me personally was the feather duvet and pillows, I always take my own Simba pillow and took a sheet and a blanket with me just in case I was to warm, so it wasn’t a problem had antihistamines too, apart from that really lovely place to stay, with visiting sheep too ."

Hi Wyn Thank you for your excellent review and so pleased you liked the barn and enjoyed your stay. Yes we do provide the down pillows and duvet as they provide such a soft and luxurious feel - it sounds like you managed okay which I am pleased about. Thank you again and hopefully you will return for another visit sometime. With best wishes Sarah and Mike Property Owner

  • "Had a lovely stay, the barn has been finished to such a high standard and the owners have clearly put a huge amount of thought, love, money and time into the restoration but also the set up for short term guests."

The access was a bit challenging as we don't have a four wheel drive car but we managed fine in the end, just had to take it slow and hope we didn't meet anyone coming in the opposite direction! Would recommend for a summer or winter break (as rhe barn is SUPER hot with the qood burner going) for a couple or two friends.

Dear Melissa Thank you so much for your 5 star review and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Lingcombe Barn. It is a very special place and although the access is a little remote it is in such a wonderful location for visiting Dartmoor. We hope you may return for another holiday sometime. With best wishes.
