We wanted an apartment with a view and were not disappointed, it is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a luxury break. My only disappointment was that I left an item of clothing, but didn't need to be , as after calling Ethan, he quickly parceled it up and shipped it back to me.

"We arrived at the apartment on the 22nd December fora Xmas break and we were immediately bowled over by the apartment and the amazing views!"
!.The apartment is modern and tastefully decorated throughout, everything we needed within this aptment and Sandy was only a phone call away if w e had any queries.We went for a few walks by the quayside and along the front which were lovely but have to admit we were here for a rest and that is what this apartment delivered in spades.
Our highlight was sitting by the window in the reading/viewing chairs ,which are SO comfy.
We will be back!!!!

It it has everything you could need. The location was perfect with great restaurants, harbour and shops minutes away. We went to Woolacombe beach body boarding, its a fantastic beach, Rib boat tour from Ilfracombe was brilliant we saw porpoise, seals and a sun fish. Kayaking in Combe Martin was amazing. We visited Lynton and Barnstable. We loved Ilfracombe try the Thatched Inn , Wards Bistro, Tandoori Nights, Terrace Tapas and Giovanna and Luca all great places to eat. Definitely book restaurants ahead as there are other places we want to go to but fully booked from six weeks before we visited

We used the apartment as as base, as Ilfracombe is very central to some beautiful places, couldn’t recommend the apartment highly enough as you have your own parking space especially if your travelling with a nice vehicle you can relax that it is safe, but you do need to book restaurants in Ilfracombe well in advance not to be disappointed.

You want for nothing as everything you need for an enjoyable holiday is provided. The view is superb, the beds are really comfortable. Sky sports and movies to keep the adults happy, Playstation to keep the kids happy! (As well as a cupboard full of games) As an apartment, the block is so quiet, yet its just a 10 minute walk to the harbour. Choices of restaurants and pubs around the town mean you wont need to cook! The next time we stay in Ilfracombe, we'll definitely stay in No.6!

A lovely place to relax, unwind, read a book, or watch the beach area directly outside. Parking is close by and in view.
The apartment is very well equipped to dine in if you choose to, or close enough to walk to all the local pubs, restaurants and cafes although being on the top side of the hill, the walk back uphill will requires some stamina, but more than worth it when you are inside.

Kitchen delightful though with so many great restaurants just around the corner there’s no need to cook. The terrace was so lovely that I would never have left it except that the sun only got onto it after 5 pm. The whole apartment felt good - it was spacious, full of light, comfortable and handsome. Exceptionally nice bathrooms too.

"The Owners of 6 Arlington clearly care for their customers."
They set out to give everything sensibly necessary. Disappointed to find an ashtray on the Balcony Table having chosen the property because it said 'No Smoking' (It did not cause us any problem). I am afraid that the Lift had a very bad smell noticeable for the entire week. I guess it comes from the 'Rubbish Collection Area' where the Lift possibly rests. (Again did not cause us any problem because it did not infiltrate into the property). I mention it because it is the first thing that a customer encounters when entering the Block and can start off by giving the wrong impression.
Everything was well organised from Sykes point of view. Arriving, entering and leaving went like clockwork. The Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Car Parking was perfect except for the thousands of messages left by the seagulls. I'm glad that we had Satnav to find the property. You might like to consider a crisper pictorial approach.
A little disappointed with Ilfracombe itself. It did not match my memory of the Town arrived at 65 years ago when I was 15 and came to Combe Martin with the Boys Brigade. I guess it is not sensible of me to expect anything else but it now has a 'Blackpool' image when in reality the Town is anything but. Would we book again; Sykes - Yes; 6 Arlington - Yes; Ilfracombe - No.

"We have stayed at 6 Arlington Villa twice in the last 6 months and cannot recommend it enough."
The pictures online look amazing but in reality, it really does surpass expectations. The location is ideal and it has everything you need for a luxury break. There is no expense spared by the owner and they have thought of absolutely everything, in order for you to have an enjoyable stay. The welcome pack which includes tea bags, biscuits, Nespresso pods and a bottle of wine is such a nice touch too. You have a lovely view of Capstone Hill and Ilfracombe seafront; you really couldn’t ask for a better view or location. It really is perfect and we will be back again.

"Every year we stay in either Devon or Cornwall, and I must say that this Appartment is by far the highest standard we've stayed at, there is no expense spared, in decor, bedding, kitchen etc, in fact it felt like brand new and that nobody had ever stayed here before, as the decor was superb and immaculate and just perfect."
We are also impressed by the owner who choose to contact us several times to make sure we are happy, and also to offer advice, once again it's normally the agency or housekeeper that is the main contact, but saying that Michael from Sykes Cottages spoke so high of the property and the owner, which was a good sign. The beach can be seen from the balcony, but it's so quite and not noisy at all. The main restaurants and shops, bars etc are a few mind walk from the apartment and there is a Tesco supermarket a five min drive. We can't rave about this Appartment enough, in our eyes it's just Amazing

Spotlessly clean on arrival with a lovely welcome pack including a bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon - very nice touch. Lovely modern decor and furnishings. Games for the children, games console (which we hardly used as there was so much to do on the beaches), books and DVDs. Wet suit and body boards supplied. Very well equipped kitchen even down to scales, measuring jugs etc. Extremely comfortable lounge furniture and very comfortable beds, excellent location only a couple of minutes' walk to the beach and about 5 minutes walk to the harbour. Lots of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms within walking distance and even a Michelin-starred restaurant a few minutes' walk away. Designated parking space which is essential in Ilfracombe, medium walk/short drive to lots of other lovely beaches. We would happily come back here, probably the nicest accommodation we've ever stayed in on holiday.

The flat is very new and the public areas are kept very clean and tidy. The Parking is marked out with the flat number the space relates to so there is no prob;em with losing a space.
The flat and the amenities supplied by the Owners are much more than we have experienced at any other properties and were very much appreciated.
Due to the weather conditions at the time of our visit the owner telephoned us to make alternative arrangements for the booking due to snow and apologised because it had not been possible to arrange an arrival pack. Not a problem for us.
We would thoroughly recommend this flat.
