• "We have been staying in self catering properties for over 40 years and this has got to be one of the best ever."

  The location is perfect with easy access to the shops, seaside, town and country. When we arrived everything was spotlessly clean, quality bedding and equipment and warm making the house a peasure to stay in. What makes the property extra special are the owners who were really friendly and helpful - Craig and Kelly - thank you for making us feel so welcome.

• "Stayed here with 5 adults and had a wonderful time in this lovely house."

  It's clean, comfortable with a nice garden and has good parking. Owners are friendly and helpful. It is in a lovely area and close to lots of places to visit. We had a great meal at nearby Rich's Cider and some nice walks in the evening from the house to Watchfield Inn and The Beer Shed. We would all love to stay here again.

• "We have just returned from a lovely stay at Cherry Tree House."

  The cottage is beautiful and has everything we needed and more to make it a comfortable stay. It’s ideally located to explore Somerset and is a real home from home. It’s very spacious with a lovely garden area so perfect for larger groups. We’d definitely return and would highly recommend to anybody who is looking to stay in the Somerset area.

  Kerry and Craig very welcoming and helpful. Very well equipped and comfortable house. A little traffic noise from the road but otherwise we could not fault Cherry Tree House, near all amenities and attractions such as Cheddar and Wookey Hole. • "We loved our stay at Cherry Tree house."

  The house is immaculate and very comfortable. We were a group of ladies, just there for the weekend, so it was perfect for us. The owners are just next door and are extremely helpful. Lovely to have the pizza oven and BBQ too!

• "This is a lovely property, it is spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable."

  The kitchen is well equipped and there are 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) and a downstairs toilet too. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a great family break here - it was perfect for us. Thank you.

• "The property was very spacious & the facilities provided were excellent."

  One thing which we would like to share was perhaps an outdoor washing line may be useful. We found that the heating a little difficult to work so found times in the evening that we were a little cold but did make use of the fire.

It is a new heating system and the heating instructions are in the Welcome Pack but we will now pop a set beside the control panel for future users. • "What a beautiful home."

  We loved our stay for a few days over n the new year, and was very impressed by how beautiful the house was for our stay. The owners were really attentive and responded to any messages we sent very quickly, which was very helpful. Really happy with our stay, thank you for having us.

• "Thank you so much for the stay, you made us all very welcome."

  The house is very spacious with a separate dinning room and a huge living room. The house was very warm (in December) and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. For anyone staying with older relatives there is a downstairs toilet and the stairs are easy to negotiate with a landing half way up the flight of stairs. The location is very convenient to get to and is an excellent place to visit the North Somerset coast and the Mendips.

• "For a family "get together" over a weekend it was fine."

  The bathrooms and toilet were very nice. And there were some very tasty biscuits and chocolates left for us. We were concerned that in the bunk bedroom the shelves are not attached to the wall. Given the likelihood of children being in there, that is a serious risk to children. It would be helpful to have a mirror in each of the bedrooms. We drink a lot of tea/coffee in our family and a few more mugs might be helpful so that if the dishwasher is running, there are still some mugs available. Some normal sized dinner plates might also be helpful. There were 9 of us, and a few cars but only one back door key! So a couple more keys would be helpful(it wasn't possible to open the front door.) A few books on the bookshelf in the lounge might have made it seem more cosy. We appreciated having the Christmas tree there and with the lights on it. For a family weekend away it was what we needed and it was pleasant to have a stroll on the seafront at Weston which was only about 15/20 mins away.

  Oh gosh, we are so sad and disappointed to see such a bad review. As neighbours of the property ourselves we wished you’d have called us on the phone numbers given, messaged on the Sykes app as you did to thank us and let us know all was well on your arrival or knocked on our door. We would have been only too happy to discuss any problems or concerns and rectified them immediately. As you have not listed anything here or given any verbal feedback we are unsure why you have scored our holiday house this low when other families have given us 5⭐️ ? Property Owner
