  • "Loved staying at this property."

Very well maintained, including the grounds. Having the use of a swimming pool was excellent too. The location was nice and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the towns, but close enough if you required provisions. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities excellent. Most enjoyable.

Thank you for the 100% review on accuracy, comfort and facilities. The 3 very minor cleaning issues that influenced your cleaning rating have been discussed and addressed. Property Owner

  • "This was our second time of visiting Stancombe Manor, although in a different apartment."

We could not fault Primrose, it was pristine throughout. It has every conceivable facility and utensil all immaculately clean. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Would definitely visit again. We visited mid September thinking the area would be fairly quiet, but we were disappointed to find the South Hams area really busy. This is no reflection of Stancombe Manor. Also, it’s worth noting that driving around the narrow roads and lanes of the South Hams is not for the feint hearted.

Thank you for the positive feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to Primrose. We work hard to maintain and equip a property we are proud of. Property Owner

  • "All the facilities and everything from cooking utensils, to cutlery, pots and pans were ideal to make our stay very enjoyable."

Very impressed with the quality of everything. The location is a bit of a challenge with the narrow country lanes. Selecting the best route out was testing. As the weather was extremely hot during our stay a fan would have been ideal to make the hot evening and nights more comfortable.

Thank you for the positive feedback. We will sort out a fan for next summer and let’s hope the weather will again warrant one. We hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "What a beautiful spot."

The apartment fulfilled all our needs. The swimming pool and games room provided entertainment for our 3 year old grandson and the weather was perfect for exploring South Devon’s gorgeous coastline.

Excellent customer service from all involved with our holiday. Thank you. Location is great, swimming pool & games room are excellent - particularly great for children. The property itself was beautiful and was well equipped with everything we needed for our family stay.

Visitors can take a walk along the Kingsbridge Quay, wander through the narrow alleys off Fore Street. Around the South Hams area there are picturesque ports, such as Dartmouth and Salcombe, together with sandy beaches at Blackpool Sands near Stoke Fleming and the two sandy beaches at Thurlestone.
