  • "We had a lovely stay in this very tasteful, spacious cottage within a quiet location with stunning views."

The garden was well maintained and our dogs loved playing there. we could also use their fields over the road next to the off road secure private parking. The property was well resourced throughout and it was lovely and clean on our arrival. We will definately be back again at some point as it was a great location for exploring Devon as well Cornwall.

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feedback. Property Owner

  • "The property is set in amazing location."

Couldn't sleep more peacefully. Plenty of bathrooms. Needed a few more facilities, such as a proper airer for washing, or actual pegs for the washing line. The property is big and there is room for this. The toaster was broken on one side and the other side the lever gets very hot! A dust pan and brush would be helpful too, instead of having to get the hoover out. Veg garden could do with updating. Plenty of room to sleep 8 people but not enough pots and pans to feed them. Understand the heritage of the property but with low windows on the first floor restrictiors or locks would be wise to stop the risk of little ones opening the windows and falling. The sofas could do with updating or a throw over them as there are a few stains. Smoky (the neighbours cat) is a delight. In fact the neighbours are a delight. And the garden is massive! Also an open pond to be mindful of. Would definitely stay again but a few small changes would be helpful.

Thank you for your feedback, this is all very helpful. The property has only been rented out for the last year so we are finding our feet. Noted re. Dust pan, pans and toaster (the latter was working when we were there a few weeks ago but it sounds as if it needs replacing). Sadly the veg garden is beyond our current remit but it is definitely on our wish list when time permits. I couldn’t agree more, our neighbours are wonderful. Property Owner

It’s one of the best cottage rentals we’ve stayed in! The cottage is beautifully charming and so well equipped. It was perfect for our children, who enjoyed the books, colouring and games room! It has such a lovely homely feel and we look forward to returning again soon!

I’m so pleased. Our children adore all of the outdoor space too. Property Owner

  • "We had an amazing week staying at Langstone Farm cottage with great weather."

The cottage was super comfy and very well equipped. A great base to explore Dartmoor National Park. The only thing we would recommend is the need for a stair gate to keep dogs downstairs as the owners request.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the recommendation, unfortunately we have tried to install stair gates but because the walls are so old it is not straight forward to do. Property Owner

  • "This cottage was perfect for our family Easter break."

It had so much character. The rooms were cosy and comfortable. There was so much space for us all to spread out. The kitchen is a real hub! Using an Aga was a novelty, and we definitely enjoyed the results..very successful roast dinner as well as birthday cake. It was a beautiful location for exploring Dartmoor and Devon.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback, we are so pleased you had an enjoyable week. Property Owner

  • "A lovely cottage."

Very comfortable, tasteful and in an idyllic location. Just a small point is that we weren’t able to use the wood burner, which was a shame as we had booked the cottage thinking this was possible.

Hi Teresa, Thank you so much for your feedback. Really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Apologies re the wood burner - a chimney issue which is being resolved shortly (bringing it back to an open fireplace due to National Park/planning). It will then be very hygge! Thank you again, Angus Property Owner
