"Nice and clean ."
Description was pretty accurate. Leaving only one roll of toilet paper, for 2 people for a week stay , is thoughtless. Leaving some basic condiments for the visitors, is low cost , but bring a hugh smile from the visitors.

"All was lovely and staff at Sykes Cottages really helpful."

"Didn't realise electric was extra so was always conscious of finding £1 coins same goes for car parks in the area ."
Good for dog walking as not many people on site.,schools not broken up yet.Facilities very good. Definitely need car as site a bit isolated. Taking your life in your hands walking on road.Supermarket quite near.Heating good when needed. Comfortable stay.

"Although the property was very clean and tidy, I was surprised to see the cooker in an alcove so you couldn’t use all the rings because it would have caused you to get burnt, also the kitchen cupboards were very high and to reach the top shelf you needed to stand on a chair when you are in your seventies this is not ideal ."

"Thank you for our lovely stay at the Bolthole."
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with all the extras you could want, we could not find anything lacking. The site was very quiet and neighbours were welcoming. The area had plenty for us to do - three adults with different interests - and was outstandingly beautiful. (We live in a lovely area of Buckingham so expectations were high). We would certainly recommend the Bolthole and will be rebooking ourselves for next year.

"Bolthole is a slightly older property but has been updated with modern fixtures, it is clean, comfortable and well maintained, the only very minor criticism is a lack of coat hooks on bedroom and bathroom doors to hang dressing gowns etc and the designated parking spot was occupied by an abandoned vehicle but these didn't detract from wonderful holiday and we will definitely book again."

"Lovely chalet, great location on a popular but quiet site, short drive to supermarkets, and to Park and Ride for easy access to beautiful Dartmouth and river ferries, steam train, nearby beaches, villages, attractions, pubs etc."
We did very little driving. Chalet very well presented with everything needed for self-catering. Parking nearby, short walk up a gentle incline, although the numbers aren't easy to spot and the available space may not be the one linked to the chalet! (this didn't seem to be a problem). Definitely recommend both the property and this area.

"A lovely well equipped chalet."
With many fantastic places to visit all around. Due to circumstances beyong my control, my sister left the family home when we were very young and only got limited contact in recent years. At last I was able to have some good times and memories with her as she lives in Dartmouth. The park the chalet was situated is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Everything I nedded was in the chalet, it was perfect.

About the location
DARTMOUTH
Totnes 12 miles.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
