  • "The property was nice and cosy but could do with a shower mat and a clock somewhere."

Both my husband and myself slipped in the shower when we were using our shower gel.

The Chalet is a very clean house but the park is not attractive because nothing inside no shop if you need something nobody contact you in7 days I stay in park I don’t saw people from staff Like the park is abandoned

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and for your very kind comments in our guest book; we are pleased to hear you were happy with Wagtails. Norton Park overlooks beautiful Devon countryside on the outskirts of the historic town of Dartmouth. We do not advertise the park as having a shop; there are two supermarkets within a couple of minutes drive and nearby Dartmouth has all the amenities you could need. Norton Park is also on a bus route if you fancy leaving the car behind. As a company, we are available 24hrs a day on the phone, should you need anything. We do hope you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed all the area has to offer. Property Owner

  • "We had a most enjoyable holiday at Wagtails, the property was immaculate, the best we have stayed in for a long time and the owners should be complemented for their efforts."

The property is located in a park that is quiet and well laid out. We visited many of the towns on both sides of the river via the ferry ,and it was a joy to revisit these towns since my youth. We were very lucky with the weather with it only raining on one night Please pass on my complements to the owners and thank them on our behalf for making our stay so enjoyable. Regards Graham.

Dear Graham, thank you so much for choosing to stay at Wagtails for your recent holiday to Dartmouth and for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review! As the owner of Wagtails, I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay and really hope you will consider visiting us again in the future. With very best wishes, Diana. Property Owner

About the location

DARTMOUTH

Totnes 12 miles.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
