  • "Cottage comfortable and well maintained."

Location very quiet and peaceful but just 15 mins from Taunton and all its facilities. Very close to walks in the Quantock Hills Kitchen in particular well equipped We would happily stay again

  • "A very comfortable 3-night stay; The home was cleaned and prepared very well for us and our two dogs."

The enclosed garden area is accessed via a neighbour's garden (they seem happy with the arrangements!) but if you have dogs, please be aware the neighbours have cats. We had no 'conflict' issues, but best be aware. Otherwise, a great home in a quiet and picturesque location.

  • "Whilst the internet connection was good, phone reception in the village was none existent, on this occasion this was very inconvenient, if I had know this I would have not booked the cottage."

The cooker and especially the hob was too complex to operate.

I understand if you have a SMART phone, and the internet is switched on you should be able to get a good phone signal although I don't understand how this works. You can get a normal mobile phone signal from either the garden or the edge of the village by the Stoney Cross T junction. The oven hob instructions were inside the information pack for holiday makers left on the lounge table. I am sorry your holiday experience was not as expected. Property Owner

  • "Comfortable, well presented characterful cottage."

Well situated for touring the area. Could benefit from a few extras for dogs. Otherwise well equipped.

Thank you you for your helpful comments. This was our first letting for dog owners and have taken on board your suggestions. In future we will be supplying feeding and drinking bowls. Property Owner

  • "Very nicely presented, characterful cottage."

Lovely spot for exploring West Somerset. Previous feedback about lack of utensils and bits seems to have been addressed as there was plenty to use.

  • "It was a lovely stay."

The cottage was lovely and what was expected. We could not find any cleaning equipment, sweeping brush or hoover to ensure we cleaned up after ourselves. Also a few more pieces of serving equipment in the kitchen and larger pans as it is tricky to cook for 5.

  • "The cottage was better than expected, very clean & tidy, felt homely."

Facilities in cottage very good. We had trouble with a couple of the electrical radiators, could not get them to operate, probably just us, as these are new. We had a lovely stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
