  • "We found the property very comfortable and warm."

Unfortunately it was let down by the poor finish to both the interior and exterior. Inside, the doors didn't fit, the paintwork was shabby and nothing seemed to be finished properly. Outside, the garden needs clearing of all the 'junk' dumped both inside and behind the shed. The outside of the property also looks very shabby and in need of some TLC. The outside lights didn't work which made it difficult and dangerous when we returned after dark. This was reported to the number given but I was not contacted until after we had returned home. It would also have been useful to have been advised of the steep road leading into town. We are in our 70s and had to use the car to get down to the sea front. The footpath down was slightly easier but also very steep.

Thank you for your feedback, it is always nice to hear that you had a comfortable stay. Our property is on a continuous maintenance schedule and gets painted inside and out regularly. Apologies regarding the outside light, it was working perfectly well the day before, there is an on/off switch near the back door to operate the outdoor lights, I will ensure there is a notice put up to make this easy to find. The shed is private , I will ensure a Private sign is put up on the shed door. The high street in Lyme does have a hill, I cant change that but at least our property is within easy reach of many high street pubs and shops. Property Owner
