"The cottage is absolutely lovely - very old, cosy and cute."
Lots of quirky details amd homely decoration and a great place to just relax. Amazingly well situated to explore the local area and with excellent local facilities. The shower was lovely and hot and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

"The location is excellent but the cottage inside was quaint but rather impractical ."
The kitchen is very basic, no cupboard for our food and the cupboard for the pans and china was difficult to access. The bedroom was fine but not much room to get into the bed on the wall side especially with a large mirror making the space even narrower. The settees were not very comfortable and the cottage quite draughty. The front door was awkward to open.
Thank you kindly for providing feedback following your stay at The Pepper Pot. Since receiving your helpful review future guests will be pleased to know we have reorganised the kitchen space giving more storage space for food and making pots & pans more accessible. Unfortunately due to the lay out of the bedrooms there isn’t really anything more we can do to make the space bigger, we haven’t had any previous mentions of this so can only apologise if you found it a little narrow. We have now replaced 1 of the sofas and have bought new cushions for the other. All windows are double glazed; however the front and back door are both wooden, the owner has done everything possible to ensure there are no draughts. Both doors have had new locks and latches however the doors will swell on occasion depending on the weather, unfortunately this is out of the owner’s control, again, there have been no previous mention of difficulties with either door. Despite the points raised we are pleased you liked the location of The Pepper Pot. Property Owner
