"Bayview Terrace is a very well maintained cottage over 3 floors."
The decor is the nicest I’ve seen in ages. It’s extremely comfortable, well maintained and not to forget the most beautiful unspoiled view! Bayview Terrace welcomes you with a warm and very “ homely “ feel. I defy anyone not to feel instantly relaxed and happy in Bayview Terrace, especially in such comfort and of course that most wonderful view! Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us. We will be back!

"Home from home with everything we could possibly need."
Had a great stay and would certainly recommend..

"Fantastic property, first class in all areas lovely view over the bay from all angles."
-
"Stunning location just minutes from all stores and the coastal path."
Every room has a beautiful view and the terrace has comfy furniture to relax on that catches the morning sunshine. Highly recommend.

"We had a wonderful stay at Bayview Terrace."
Everything we could possibly have needed was there and we loved the extra crockery in the kitchen which meant as a family of four, we never ran out of anything. The apartment is really spacious and everyone had their own space over the 3 floors; the loft bedroom was the ideal place for teenagers. The view is spectacular and the kitchen ideally placed to enjoy it. Communication with the owner was excellent and we can’t recommend Bayview Terrace highly enough.

"Amazing view, lovely cottage, we had a few issues but they were sorted, location perfect for local facilities and walks"
-
"So glad we chose to stay at Bayview."
Just about perfect in every way. It is clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into furnishing and equipping the apartment. It is super comfortable and stylish. The views are incredible from every room and on a clear day the Welsh coast is visible. A great base for walking and exploring the incredible and dramatic scenery. We loved staying at Bayview and would definitely recommend and will come again.

We would definitely love to come back here one day. Fantastic holiday!! Thank you

"Fantastic accommodation, exceeded expectations, very well equipped, beautiful view from every room, excellent location right on the south west coast path but also with pubs and good restaurants close by."
Was grateful for additional email from owner giving extra local information, to add that to Sykes info would be a help.
-
"Excellent property."
Clean and well maintained. Complimentary milk, cake and prosseco much appreciated. Many thanks. Will come again. Only downside double bed mattress too saggy for our liking.
-
"Excellent home from home environment with a very helpful and understanding owner."
-

"Fantastic stay in a beautiful location."
Highly recommend.

"We have enjoyed our week at Bayview Terrace despite the mixed weather."
Lovely apartment, very comfortable and really clean. Bed also comfy and showers super hot. The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom needs attention as it moves from side to side. Expect a quick fix. Visited Lynmouth and back on the cliff railway. Ilfracombe. Did the Watersmeet longer walk. Very hilly but fabulous views. Highlight for us was hiring bikes from Barnstaple station to cycle the Tarka Trail to Bideford. Thoroughly enjoyed that. All in all a great week.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback and are delighted you enjoyed your week . Taking on board your comment on the toilet seat , it has now been replaced Property Owner

"We loved the apartment & found it very spacious, well equipped & comfortable."
It’s position is outstanding, fabulous views from all the rooms & only a minute’s walk into Lynton & a 10 minute walk down a very steep path into Lynmouth (we always got the cliff railway back up!) The minor issues which arose whilst we were there, were dealt with very promptly by the owner & housekeeper. The only thing missing from this apartment is a full length mirror! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
-
"THE HOUSE IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND WELL FURNISHED, KITCHEN WELL EQUIPED."
WE HAD BEAUTIFUL WEATHER FOR OUR TWO WEEKS THERE.THE VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR. A FIVE MINUTE WALK INTO LYNTON UP A STEEP HILL. THE DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM FLOOR IS VERY SLIPPY WHEN WET AND THE TOILET SEAT IS BROKEN. WE WOULD RECOMEND A STAY THERE.
Thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I've asked the housekeeper to check the fixtures in the bathroom and replace as necessary. The downstairs bathroom is a wet room . Obviously care should be taken to direct the shower appropriately which is screened from the rest of the bathroom. Property Owner

"Very beautiful property, with a view facing the sea."
The instructions with regards to the use of the facilities in the property were well written and on point. The property has been well maintained with modern facilities. Thanks for the complimentary Prosecco and welcome email. My family and I have a really enjoyed our stay at your property and will definitely recommend it to family and friends. We are looking forward to visit again on our next trip to North Devon.

"Lovely house, well equipped with lots of space."
Beautiful views. Lovely to sit on the terrace in the morning and watch the house martins flitting around. Really convenient for walking, valley of the rocks is stunning especially at sunset. Watersmeet not too far away, did catch the cliff railway back up the hill after we walked there and back! Short drive to woolacombe beach, porlock weir in the other direction is lovely for a day out. Lidl in ilfracombe is much cheaper for provisions that the local londis. Had an excellent stay and I would recommend it just for the sea views!
-
"Beautiful presented and clean."
Everything you could need during your stay. The starter gifts were very much appreciated (milk, scones, jam and cream plus a bottle of prosecco). The only downside was that the entrance road to all of the cottages passed directly by our kitchen window thus lacking in some privacy. However, this was easily rectified by keeping the kitchen blinds lowered somewhat. The patio door opening onto a small terrace proved to be a wonderful suntrap and the overall views from the cottage were stunning. To summarise, a lovely gem with stunning views made perfect by having absolutely glirious weather for walking those cliff top paths and valleys. Highly recommended.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Bayview."
Stunning views over the bay and very quiet. The property was very clean . Bed's very comfy. Walking distance to local shops and cafes however there was a very steep hill so not suitable for everyone .The negatives were no kitchen cupboard space to put your own food in. Also getting into the car park was difficult at times especially if car's were parked in the first two bays as the drive is not very wide so had to slowly drive between parked cars and a brick wall. Driving out of the property was not ideal as it was two way traffic and a blind entrance due to the out exit being closed due to a landslide .However we would not hesitate to stay at bay view again.

"What an amazing place the views were absolutely beautiful, could not fault anything everything was 10 out of 10 had a great time Paul and Wendy ."
-
"The views from every window were incredible."
We had great weather so hiking around the town and in Lynmouth was extraordinary. We really appreciate it all the maps and the guides that were provided. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The showers were warm and the water pressure was great. There were good blankets too. Post office was close and folks were friendly. Loved the cliff railway and watching surfers. Lovely.

"Just returned from a wonderful 3 night break at Bayview Terrace."
Tastefully decorated & furnished throughout plus well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed and much more. Comfy bedrooms/beds and immaculate bathrooms. But the views... oh my! Just picture postcard from every window! Added bonus as there was a Christmas tree in the cosy lounge - I indulged and gladly kept the lights twinkling! Easy free parking directly outside. Lovely touch with the bottle of wine, milk and chocolate cake on arrival. Thank you so much Steve.

"Bayview Terrace, what a gem!"
! Just returned from a 7day stay at this fabulous, exceptionally clean, comfy, warm cosy property. With a well equiped kitchen, lovely bedroom, comfortable bed with good quality bedding and to top it all, a wonderful seaview from every window. Could not have asked for more, we will return.

"What an amazing cottage!"
The photos don't do it justice. It really is a lovely place. It's really well positioned to walk to the shops and restaurants in Lynton. We did have trouble eating out while we were there. We were told by everyone that all restaurants were pretty much fully booked for the entire week! We then spent the first evening phoning round trying to book tables for later in the week. We did eventually manage to eat out a couple of times, but it was slightly annoying that people had pre-booked weeks in advance! We would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone, and we would happily go back again. The view of the coast is breath-taking!

"One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in, great location, very well equipped and comfortable"
-
"A fantastic property in a great location with a breathtaking seaview."
As a family of four (two adults, two children) we had a great stay at Bayview. The property is comfortable and very well equipped. It is also situated in the lovely town of Lynton and short walk to Lynmouth. Highly recommended.
-
"The accommodation is in an excellent location, quiet, yet only a 5 minute walk into the attractive town."
There are lovely communal gardens, and wonderful sea views .. The rooms are spacious and attractively furnished. The S.W. coastpath goes close to the property, and we found it to be in a very good position for walks in the area.

"Had a great time, lovely property but there was a drinking straw on the living room floor when we arrived?"
