"Overall we enjoyed our weekend away, however the property we stayed in (Rose Cottage) wasn't the one confirmed on the booking."
We had booked to stay at Primrose Cottage but on arrival were guided to the property next to it. Thinking they may have been similar, we continued with our stay at Rose cottage as it had the same amount of beds we were expecting. But after a couple of the guests had an uncomfortable night's sleep in the twin room we were left wondering whether the original booking at Primrose would have been more comfortable. We then realised there was another family staying there which explained the change of property last minute. We would have appreciated honest communication from the owners about the this, especially given one of the beds were particularly uncomfortable. We also noticed that only a few properties could watch Netflix at one time, which meant if guests were already using the account others weren't able to. The tea, coffee and biscuits were really appreciated. It would have been helpful to have some salt and oil to cook with and also communication around how to shut the twin bedroom blind (or have it already closed), as this was difficult to pull down using the hooked pole.

"Lovely cottage, very friendly owners."
Every little thing thought of and provided from tea towels, bins bags and washing up liquid to bread, milk biscuits and toilet roll. Lovely welcoming touches, including fresh flowers on the table all made the stay very special for us and our furry family member. Thank you.

"It was disappointing that the pool was unavailable for the duration of the stay as this was one of the main reasons this property was picked."
As we hadn't been to the area before we were able to find plenty of other things to do. The fridge was a little small, but otherwise the property was clean, well presented and had a lovely welcome pack including local organic milk, biscuits and bread.
Thank you very much for your feedback, it has been greatly appreciated. As we are new to the business we are still striving to make every stay as perfect as possible. I would like to apologise regarding the pool, unfortunately it was unavailable for part of your stay as we had an emergency maintenance issue, which fortunately has been rectified. I do hope you choose to stay with us again in the future where we plan to make your stay much more enjoyable. Property Owner
