"We had a great stay in Rose Cottage."
The cottage is well furnished and also has equipment/games/books etc both inside + available from a shared storeroom. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were very approachable and helpful when we encountered a couple of minor issues. The garden looks great and we would love to return in the summer when the pool is operational. Thank you.

"The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished."
The owners went above and beyond in supplying everything we could need on arrival, including a welcome pack of goodies, milk and bottled water in the fridge plus toiletries in the bathroom. Bed linen and towels were also provided - it felt like a 5 star hotel! The only downside was that the weather was not hot enough to heat the pool (solar heated). Would also suggest putting net curtains in the downstairs windows to give better privacy from other residents walking past the property.

"Rose cottage was a lovely place to stay."
Clean and comfortable. A welcome basket was waiting for us when we arrived which was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Other home comforts were also included. Lisza and family couldn't be more welcoming. Big bonus was the pool in the back garden.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Property Owner

"Welcome pack was fantastic plus another for the dog."
Really enjoyed our stay despite the weather which was raining about 80% of the time

"My only beef about the cottage was it says it's dog friendly, and yes they leave a lovely welcome package fir humans and dogs."
But I asked the question before I went could I leave thr dogs in the cottage, as they are old and cannot walk around all day. I was told yes on a chat. But the folder said categorically no dogs to be left in the cottage so we had to drag them around with us all day everyday. Which made them ill. So we came home early.

"We spent an enjoyable week at Rose Cottage."
We found it well-situated for exploring the area, and we particularly enjoyed the National Trust properties at Compton Castle and Greenway as well as visits to Teignmouth and Brixham along the coast. The owners gave us a warm welcome and could not have been more helpful. Little problems we had were dealt with immediately and satisfactorily. The cottage is comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. It was the wrong season to make use of the pool, but the garden is a definite plus. We would certainly consider a return visit.

"This visit was the second time we’ve stayed here because these cottages are just lovely."
Also they’re very near relatives we are visiting. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. The cottages are very much a credit to their owners.

"Rose Cottage was lovely."
Clean, comfortable and a lovely settling. The owners were very friendly. The weather wasn’t the best so didn’t get to go in the pool. Milk, bread, biscuits and treats and dog bowels and dog treats were provided on our arrival Plenty of places to visit nearby. Had a great week and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
