This pretty village houses a church, pub, shop and an impressive golf course situated at Bovey Castle. 4 miles from Moretonhampstead which is small in size but packed with amenities and things to do with a wide range of shops, four pubs and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy. Moreover, North Bovey is the perfect base for a walking holiday, with miles of wild, open moorland to explore. Must see places includes Postbridge, which lies in the centre of the National Park, where you can take a short walk to visit one of the best examples of a clapper bridge, making this a great location to explore the area’s archaeology. Further afield is Canonteign Waterfalls and Country Park, where you can discover England’s highest man-made waterfall, a fine example of a Victorian Folly.
