"An exquisite property."
The setting, a quirky upside down house. Beds were so comfortable, everything about the property is tasteful and stylish. Kitchen well stocked, nothing we wanted for. 100% recommend this property and congratulations to the owners, everything so well thought out.
Thank you for your very kind words. We put a lot of thought into the furnishings and equipment at Seaquel, and it is so rewarding to receive such wonderful feedback. We really do hope to welcome you back soon. Very best wishes. Property Owner

"Everything was just perfect ."
The house was immaculate and the kitchen had every utensil needed . Little touches like the night light at the bottom of the stairs was just great
Thank you for your kind feedback. We have tried really hard to think of everything a guest may need during their stay, and it's really rewarding to have our efforts appreciated in this way. We really hope you'll visit Seaquel again very soon. Property Owner

"Sequel is beautiful holiday home, comfortable, clean and all that you need for an enjoyable stay."
The kitchen is very well equipped. Beds are very comfy and the en shower suites in both rooms are to a high standard. The view is lovely from the balcony with fields and the sea in distance. A nice seating area in an enclosed garden was great. Very quiet area and Not far from main rd where there is a bus service and about a 10/15 min walk to sea front with plenty of eateries and pubs. A fantastic place to stay and will be recommending to friends and family.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, and we are so pleased you had a wonderful time at Seaquel. We hope to welcome you back soon. Property Owner

"What an outstanding property, in which we had a memorable stay complemented by the situation and having had the ‘weather God’ providing quite the best week for months!"
Were there not so many places to visit in the U.K. we would rebook without hesitation.
Thank you for your kind words. We hope to welcome you back to Seaquel. Property Owner

"Great house."
Modern with all the facilities we needed. Very clean and comfy. Great location for exploring, town has everything you need with a good selection of restaurants.

"We loved everything about this house."
Beautifully clean and smelling fresh on arrival and housekeeper kindly called to say house was ready before 5pm. The house is in a lovely quiet location with views of sheep and horses on the golf course and an easy walk to the beach. Hubby particularly enjoyed the golf course early morning. Tastefully furnished with good quality furnishings. We all slept really well. The owners have thought of everything. It’s a great base for venturing out. The beach provided a lovely evening stroll and watching the sunset. The beach is massive so on a lovely sunny day it’s a great place to spend the day. Places to eat are plentiful. We visited The Big Sheep, Rosemoor Gardens, Instow, Clovelly, Appledore and Barnstaple all really lovely days out. Lots to do and see in North Devon and thankfully the weather was kind to us. Highly recommend the area and most definitely this property.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to Seaquel soon. Property Owner

"Immaculatley presented on a lovely small and quiet complex with amazing views."
Owners have conisdered everything even as far as plasticcups, plates and toddler cultery.

"Fantastic holiday home."
The property was clean and comfortable (thank you to Faye the Housekeeper). Everything you could need and more was supplied. The cream tea and milk in the fridge was a nice touch to get you settled in after travelling. The house is in a quiet location with stunning views of the burrows and pebble ridge/sea. I could not recommend this property enough and could not give any suggestion on change, it was just perfect. Thank you for sharing your house with us and I hope to be back soon!

"A beautiful property, lovely furnishings, not a speck of dust anywhere."
Lots of attention to detail. Highly recommended

"A lovely property, everything we needed was catered for"

"The property was beautifully decorated and furnished tastefully."
The housekeeping lacked in areas, the windows inside were dirty and smeary from little hands! The toaster was not clean and the cupboard in which it was kept was full of toast crumbs, we had to clean the toaster before use and clean the cupboard ...I could not have left it that state. The only other point was the towels, they were scratchy...not nice. The milk and cream tea left for us a very nice touch....not expecting that. Overall if the minor things are addressed I would happily revisit this property.
Thank you for giving us a 100% score on your feedback. We are really grateful, and also we are pleased when guests raise concerns so we can put things right. For this reason our housekeeper always rings every guest on arrival to make sure everything is ok, and would gladly have attended to these points. We so wish you had mentioned it to her when she called you, and gave you her contact number. She lives in Appledore, 5 minutes away. Given the weather is now so warm, she is drying the towels on the clothesline, to reduce our carbon footprint, but would have gladly brought you some tumble dried towels if requested. We've also asked her now to finish towels in the tumble dryer to soften them once they have been dried on the line. She does a brilliant job for us, she works so hard and cleans many houses on changeover day each Saturday, because since Brexit there is a real shortage of staff in the hospitality sector - we are lucky to have her. We know she will be absolutely mortified about missing some toaster crumbs inside the kitchen cabinet, where the toaster is stored. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful house, but when you visit again, please talk to us about problems immediately, while you are still there, so we can put it right, rather than after you get home :-) Property Owner

"A lovely property equipped and decorated to a high standard."
Beautiful sunset views every evening from balcony. Garden is not overlooked and has comfortable seating area. Walking distance to both Beach and Centre. Location is ideal as a base for visiting other areas in Devon and Cornwall.

"We have stayed at Seaquel before and hope to do so again in the future."
It is a truly lovely holiday home, very well equipped, and tastefully furnished. it is in walking distance of the Pebble beach and sand dunes, with the gorgeous, quiet North Devon villages such as Instow and Appledore on its door step. We thoroughly recommend staying here.
-
"A lovely property that is only about 2-3 years old."
It is very well decorated. The upside down layout works well as it gives you views to the beach with a lovely sun trap out front to sit and watch the sunset. The beach is about a 5-10 minute walk across the golf course. The town is 1 mile away or about a 10 minute walk. The Pig and Olive restaurant is a must for pizza. Booking is essential there as space is limited. My daughter is coeliac, but we had no problem finding places to eat in Westward Ho.
-
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
The house was immaculate and would highly recommend.
-
"The property is well presented with comfortable beds and very good showers."
The kitchen is well appointed with the best quality frying pans we have used on holidays. The upstairs area is well laid out and having the balcony with a view of the Burrows is a nice place to sit

"We loved The Seaquel holiday cottage!"
Beautifully decorated, comfortable for our family of four and in a fantastic location. It was such an easy place to relax with everything we needed and short walks to the golf course, beach and town with restaurants and shops. So many nearby activities for kids and adults too. We highly recommend The Seaquel in Westward Ho!
-
"We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful holiday house, the accommodation was superb and everything you could possibly need was provided."
Even the tea/coffee/sugar and Devon cream tea! After a day out in the Devon countryside or at the pretty local beach beyond the pebbles, it was a pleasure to return to this house and its lovely view of the sea (a 20 minutes walk). We would love to return one day.

"We had a great time at Sequel."
It is an exceptionally well designed and well equipped holiday home. It is upside down so the living space is upstairs and compact bedrooms on the ground floor with a view towards the beach over the gold course through a gap between some other properties. Lovely sunset when sunny. This would be an ideal holiday let for a couple with two children who don't mind sharing a room and where the children want to body board on the beach in Westward Ho! most days. The beach is very long. If you are using the property as a nice place to stay and a base to do other stuff in Devon it is still good. We went cycling the on Tarka trail, walking, went to the RHS gardens and across Exmoor. However, even for the summer following Covid lockdowns when all prices were jacked up over the summer period it was very pricey (top end of anything comparable) so in terms of value possibly only a 3 which is why we gave the property a 4 not a 5. That said we had a great time, chips on the seafront etc
-
"Lovely modern house in very good condition with lots of thoughtful touches from the owners so we had everything we needed."
It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach and about the same to local shops and restaurants. We had great weather the whole week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.
-

Mixed weather but had a lovely, relaxing holiday.
-
"Lovely place and beautifully clean too."
Sitting in the lounge looking out to see was transfixing !
-
"Enjoyed our stay."
Weather not very good but we were very comfortable in Seaquel. Everything we needed.
-
"The layout, the view, the garden, scones jam cream on arrival, all great."
Everything was perfectly laid out. Spotlessly clean, clear instructions, wonderful decor and we didn't want to come home!
