    Very well laid out and appointed in an amazing location. The slight drawback was little ‘private’ out door space. Prior to our stay we were told due to the proximity of the two pubs it would be noisy. This was untrue. We would return

  • "Difficult to describe the layout but each room was big welllpainted with good showers and loos Great position with plenty to watch in the creek ."

    Parking was ok ,good walks and plenty to do on a wet day .well appointed kitchen .the potholes in the roads were being repaired when we were there which caused a degree of skill in reversing in the lanes,testing for townies.didnt see the bats plenty of birdsong

  • "He property at Tidal Waters is in a stunning location at the head of the creek, and just around the water from the delightful Ship Inn."

    The house is very well designed, with the main living room and kitchen on the first floor, with its balcony overlooking (and at times overhanging) the water, making it an ideal spot for watching boats being launched and cars being rescued from the incoming tide. The whole house is very well appointed with all mod cons and is extremely comfortable, and well maintained. As we discovered, however, it is not always possible to leave vehicles on the property, as exceptionally high tides (spring tides combined with high winds) make this a hazardous policy. There is, however, plenty of alternative parking nearby. We also found the local community to be very friendly and welcoming.

  • "Great house in great location."

    But for the price a few things could be improved: lack of hanging space and chests of drawers, esp in room over garage; no salad spinner; plates too big for dishwasher, no recycling bin; WiFi very weak for those who needed to work. Minor issues which would be easy to sort as it’s a fabulous place to stay on holiday.

  • "Wonderful house in a perfect location."

    The house and bedrooms were perfect for our extended family of 11 people and could easily have swallowed a few more. The location is very picturesque in the heart of Noss Mayo - and with the Ship and the Swan pubs each a 2 minute walk away there was no shortage of entertainment. The South Hams is a beautiful location and we were blessed with the week of sunshine. Easy access to the beaches at Mothecombe and Stoke, as well as swimming at Cellar Bay. There's parking for 3 small cars at the front of the house. (Would stick to smaller vehicles given the size of the lanes that one needs to navigate in that area). Contact with the letting agent was pretty seamless. 10/10.

    My only slightly negative comment would be that the lighting in bed 1 and the attached bedroom, was definitely not sufficient. I’m not sure all the ceiling bulbs were working

  • "Heating in the bedrooms over the garage a bit random."

    The radiators didn't work all week and then came on on the last day when the weather had warmed up. Otherwise the property was absolutely brilliant.

  • "We spent a week to celebrate a birthday with 10 adults and enjoyed every minute of it."

    The property was absolutely stunning. It was located by the estuary with fabulous views across the waters. Two pubs with outstanding food And fantastic walks from the house. The decor and facilities provided were exceptional. I thoroughly recommend it.

This magnificent detached house is located right on the waterfront opposite the Ship Inn in Noss Mayo, boasting a stylish contemporary interior and accommodation rambling over three levels, it is a fantastic place to gather with family or friends.

Newton Ferrers 1 mile; Plymouth 10 miles

The charming creek side village of Noss Mayo is hidden away on the banks of the beautiful Yealm Estuary. The area is blessed with many coastal and countryside walks. Local beaches, Stoke and Cellars are just a three-quarters of a mile walk. The village is home to two excellent waterside pubs with river views, both of which offer superb meals using the best of local produce.
Across the water, the village of Newton Ferrers, which has a local butcher, chemist, Post Office and general grocery store, may be reached on foot via causeways at low tide. A seasonal ferry also operates between Noss Mayo, Newton Ferrers and the SW coastal path to Wembury. The surrounding South Hams area is well known for its award-winning, sandy beaches and also for the breath-taking beauty of the Dartmoor National Park. All are all within easy reach, as are interesting towns and villages such as Totnes, Salcombe, Dartington and Modbury. The city of Plymouth with its shops, Marine Aquarium and Barbican quayside area is just 10 miles away.
