    I would suggest that the owner looks into the built in microwave as the interior light bulb does not work making using it rather difficult due to having to constantly open the door to check on cooking and making sure things aren't boiling over.

  • "Had a lovely stay here, apartment was beautifully clean, well equipped, warm and cosy."

    Does need to be noted that drive, outdoor steps and stairs are quite steep so not for those with mobility issues. The balcony gives a lovely, tree lined view of the quiet, mainly residential road. Paignton beach and esplanade is a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Property was excellent in every way."

    Sadly key code for main door entry was incorrect. Trying to contact Sykes by phone to speak to a human was impossible, I don't use their ap, however after 15 min another resident let us into the building and have me the correct key code.

    It looked brand new as there are no signs of wear and tear to the apartment . Well equipped kitchen with good quality pots, pans and utensils. Great quiet location only a short walk into the town centre. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return

    We had a lovely week in Paignton and Apartment 4 Somers Court Was Amazing Its so clean and Modern It Had Everything you Need The Beds Were Great Really comfy Lovely Bathrooms with Great Showers We Loved The Outside Space Where we Sat For Morning Coffee and Drinks in The Evening We had a small Problem Which Jon and Zoe quickly Sorted For Us Its Close to the Town Beach and Harbour Hopefully We Will Get To Go Back Next year Its Also Great To Have Parking Many Thanks

  • "The apartment we booked was satisfactory for us as a party of 3 adults, with all mod cons."

    Well equipped, clean and beds extremely comfortable. Rails inadequate to hang many clothes on and only one set of small drawers in main bedroom, just bedside cabinets in second bedroom. We feel flat overall would be quite small for 4/5 adults. Although the description is described as first floor, the picture appears to show a two storey building when in fact it is three, and we were surprised to find ourselves having to climb a steep staircase to access the flat. We therefore feel it is unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. The car park is quite steep and could do with more lighting at night.

    Dear Diane, Firstly thank you for your feedback - we will take your comments on board and make changes where appropriate. Please accept our apologies for the delay in responding you your feedback - the facility to do so was only recently sorted by Sykes and we are glad that you found the apartment well equipped, clean and comfortable. We were a little surprised about your comments regarding storage as there is a decent sized set of four drawers in the main bedroom as well as four further drawers in the two bedside tables plus twelve coat hangers. In the second bedroom, there are six drawers in the bedside cabinets, two large under-bed storage drawers and another 12 coat hangers. We will look to see if we can work in some further storage to make things easier for guests going forward. The apartment is a first floor apartment as described and, as the building is a new renovation of an older building, the staircases meet all building regulations requirements but may be longer than some people are used to to climb to the first floor. As we have advised that the apartment does not have a lift and is situated on the first floor, we had assumed that anyone with mobility issues would be likely to check this beforehand Unfortunately there are some points around the building and location we cannot change. Finally, the car park has over fifteen lights spaced around to provide light as well as a street lap on the corner and an automatic light that illuminates as you approach the building. Please accept our apologies if these were not working at the time you stayed, however please be assured that the building management company will always address these types of issues immediately and they were working last time we attended the property for inspection. We feel that given the quality of the apartment it offers excellent value for money and, we were of course disappointed with your score, however we hope that you enjoyed your stay with us and we are sorry that our apartment did not fully meet your expectations.   • "My sister and I had a very comfortable stay at Somers Court."

    The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Two very generous size bedrooms and great showers. Having a balcony to sit out on was a bonus. Plenty of parking space and very convenient for the seafront and shops. I had noticed many people didn't have anything positive to say about Paignton and yes the interior is a little tired, but the seafront was lovely and clean with a great beach for both children and dogs! Everywhere is dog friendly and the locals always happy to chat. The bus service is brilliant and the steam train ride is a must. Thank you to our hosts for a great stay!
