  • "Absolutely charming, extremely well equipped cottage in a beautiful and peaceful rural location."

An ideal base for us to explore a lot of Exmoor, without having to travel great distances. We visited in September and the weather was still warm enough for us to enjoy sitting out in the lovely enclosed private garden. Without doubt we would stay at Hedgehog cottage again in the future.

Location was wonderful, beautiful views over rolling hills - very private. Hedgehog cottage perfect little getaway for a couple with a dog. Cottage nicely furnished with fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, cosy lounge. Bathroom clean and modern and bedrooms nicely dressed. Great location for hiking. Lots of circular walks within 30 mins radius. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Lovely little place."

Beautiful surroundings and so quiet. So thankful for the wifi as we had no phone signal or internet on all devices. The rest and be thankful pub was a nice place to visit. Food was good and staff were friendly. We visited Clovelly, Wells and a trip on the GWR to Minehead. The cottage had absolutely everything to make it home from home. The kids loved it and so did the pugs! Thankyou

It is in a lovely peaceful spot with walks from your doorstep & is in an ideal position as it is not too far from many places on the tourist map. It is cosy & well kitted out & the bed was very comfortable. Very clean too. We were fortunate with the weather & used the provided BBQ several times. Fran, the owner, was very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Our dog really enjoyed it there too, thank you, we shall be returning
