  • "Lovely property with great views."

Very peaceful yet close enough to the road to get about.

  • "Red Deer Cottage provided us with an extremely comfortable Christmas break after we had been let down by a booking at another property."

The furnishings, decorations and welcome pack made our Christmas feel really homely. The view from the property was outstanding even in the winter. All of us (three adults and our two Labradors) settled in really quickly and we were sad to leave. We would have liked to be able to go out on dog walks directly from the property but the reasonable weather allowed us to be able to visit Dunster and Minehead beaches which were only a short drive away and enjoyed by the pooches. We would recommend Red Deer Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet break. It is very remote but beaches, pubs and villages are only a short drive.

Thank you for your lovely review. I am delighted to read that you loved your Christmas stay with us. Exmoor is still very beautiful in the winter, its my personal favourite time to watch the wildlife out on the moors. We all hope to welcome you back again in the future.
