"Well equipped and very clean property."
Cosy but spacious, and lovely situation in owners garden overlooking river. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Sticklepath village has interesting history and good pubs, plus plenty of walking nearby. Recommend visiting N.T. Finch Forge in village.

"Lovely cosy property with all amenities."
After a long stressful journey it was so nice to be greeted by Pam and Steve. They answered all queries about the property and any teething problems. They also have an absolutely gorgeous garden.

"Wonderful Stay."
Beautiful immaculate accommodation and garden. Wonderful location for walks from the doorstep. Friendly pub (Taw River Inn) with delicious home cooked food reasonably priced. Owners very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We will be definitely back. Glen, Sandy and the dog Bert.

"We had a fantastic time."
Great location and really great hosts. Garden is beautiful and lovely to relax in.
-
"This was our second visit to Taw River View."
It’s a great cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. The setting is second to none with the river as the garden boundary. The owners live next door and are very friendly, but not intrusive. Sticklepath is a pleasant historical village will two pubs, one of which does good wholesome food. Already looking forward to our next visit.

"A wonderful home to rest up in whether walking in and around Sticklepath or on Dartmoor; taking some of the nearby bike trails or just sitting by the river at the bottom of the property's lovely garden."
The family run pub and adjoining store/cafe in the village are a real bonus. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with a well stocked woodburner for cosy nights in. Steve and Pam just next door if needed but are very unobtrusive and friendly - the ideal hosts for a perfect home from home.

"This is a great place to stay."
Steve and Pam are wonderful hosts and the accommodation was ideal for us. Important for me the beds are very comfortable and unlike many properties there was ample storage space for clothes. The local pub just around the corner is friendly and serves good pub grub. We do plan to go back.

"Lovely well equipped accomodation."
Thank you Pam and Steve and hope to see you again soon.
-
"Can't say enough good things about the property AND the hosts, Pam & Steve."
Attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Informative. Lovely place to stay in Devon; wonderfully situated and furnished. Sticklepath offers welcoming places to spend time eating & exploring. Saying we could have happily moved in for a much longer stay should tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at River Taw View. --Deborah & Kate.

"Without doubt the nicest most comfortable place we have stayed in."
Kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. Great location for exploring the area. Friendly, welcoming owners. A perfect place for a few days away.
-
"Our accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped."
There was a great view of the lovely garden, we stayed in October too late to make use of the outside seating. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The village is good for access to Dartmoor and has a handy shop and cafe, and a pub
-
"Pam and Steve were very welcoming and the milk, scones and clotted cream was a nice touch."
The accommodation was ideal and we did make good use of the seating area and garden, which was very nicely kept. The surrounding village was well appointed with an excellent tea room/village shop and two pubs - the walk up to Belstone along the Traka Trail was beautiful, wooded and opened up nicely onto moorland. We had a week - could have stayed longer!
-
"Lovely accommodation, beautifully presented - a home from home!"
Great setting with its stunning and spacious garden, with the river running past - so peaceful. Our hosts, Steve and Pam, were very welcoming and helpful, and we especially appreciated the cream tea which awaited us on our arrival. Thank you so much for a brilliant week's stay.
-
"Lovely, clean, well equipped, light and airy property attached to Pam & Steve’s home."
Beautiful gardens to look at from the decking. I had a dip in the river which was great! Steve was very helpful in giving us advice on local walks and pubs as well as offering us the use of the fire pit. Great food in the Taw River Inn and breakfast in the cafe. Would have loved to stay longer to enjoy all on offer in the area so a revisit may be in order!
-
"Lovely setting by the river."
Plenty of options for walks from the village or within a short distance. Finch Foundry (National Trust) is also a great visit. Friendly hosts but not intrusive. Very happy. Will be back.
-
"Best accommodation we have ever stayed in."
The friendly owners went out of their way to assist and provide helpful information. Local facilities covered all our needs. We fully intend to return to this property.
-
"Great, well equipped accommodation and lovely hosts."
Fantastic garden bordered by the river Taw. Highly recommended, we would liked to have stayed the month rather than the week! In interesting village with shop and 2 pubs; also buses to Exeter and Okehampton. Good walking country on edge of Dartmoor.

"The property and garden are amazing."
Everything looked brand new and freshly decorated. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful owners, we only had to ask. We had a restful break, and it didn't matter that the weather was very windy and wet on a couple of days, as we had the lovely warm house and log fire to come back to. We hope to return....
-
"An exceptionally comfortable and welcoming home from home."
The hosts are so friendly and helpful and the area is both beautiful and interesting. It is an ideal spot from which to explore the top of Dartmoor and we will definitely be booking a return visit!
