  • "Cosy compact cottage style building in a small group of other cottage style buildings."

Gorgeous views and has it own private pebble beach to the rear of the properties, including access to the costal path. Hens, alpacas and goats

  • "A lovely little cottage in beautiful surroundings."

The private beach was great. So nice to see the alpacas and other animals enjoying their best life and being so well cared for. The doggy exercise area was always clean and the poo bins kept emptied too. Really impressed and hope to return next year but hopefully with a bit more sunshine!

  • "The accommodation was only room for two ( as stated )."

A Converted barn / building ? , but to a good Finnish . Area hilly , so good x/county walks , no real real paths to pub . A good base to travel around area 'but note' car/transport required . But we did enjoy the holiday .

  • "Loved the cottage, beautifully clean, well equipped, and in a great location for visiting Ilfracombe, Mortehoe and Lundy Island."

Very well kept site with access to private beach and South West Coast path. Really enjoyed our weekend stay.

  • "I’ll admit the weather helped as it was glorious."

However the cottage and farm as a while was amazing. Lovely comfortable cottage with all we needed and having a parking space was handy. The local area had loads of walls and beaches to explore. The highlight for us was Watermouth Harbour at the bottom of the farm. We found if you time the low tide right you basically had a private beach to walk the dog and go swimming. The cafe at the other end of the harbour was also brilliant. We honestly had such a lovely relaxing (very sunny) week and we will absolutely be going back

  • "Bathroom - Noted on arrival."

Top of cold tap loose & frequently fell off: No spindle in toilet roll holder, had to put toilet roll on floor. Kitchen - Noted on arrival. Fridge light not working. Bedroom - Noted on arrival. A shelf BOTH sides of the bed would be convenient. Noted on departure when stripping the bed, all bedding 100% polyester - was sweaty & rather nasty. Also, no hairdryer.

  • "Loved the cottage."

The hanging space is Wren a little cramped and the bathroom small but it was accurately described as 'cosy'. However in terms of facilities and ambiance and service delivery it was all quite superb and efficient. Thank you for a faultless stay,

  • "Lovely little cottage but not really the best one for couple with dog."

Although the farm is dog friendly and has a fenced exercise area this cottage didn’t have a fenced garden so we couldn’t let our dog wander outside off lead.

  • "We had a fantastic stay."

The cottage was small but it was absolutely fine for us (and we even had a Labrador in tow!). The location of the cottage is excellent. We found that it was only a short drive (20ish mins) to everything that we wanted to do and the drives are lovely and scenic too. The private beach was gorgeous and a real hit with our dog! The owners were lovely and welcoming and the animals on the farm were so friendly too. We thought it was a lovely touch to give dog treats and poo bags etc for the dog. The bed was the comfiest bed we have stayed in away from home and the area was nice and quiet in the evenings. A fantastic stay, just a shame that it wasn’t longer! We will definitely be back very soon!

.We found cottage to small. No room in bedroom . Hardly any storage space..When the adjoining holiday makers were up at the crack of dawn, we were awoken..Seemed to us that Wren cottage and ajoining cottage needed to be converted into 1...Dog throughly enjoyed herself..

  • "A cosy, quiet cottage in a stunning location."

Everything for a peaceful stay, close to the sea with the bonus of a private beach. The Alpacas were a delight, with goats, sheep, chickens, geese and turkeys also enjoying the sun.

Thank you for a lovely review. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Hopefully see you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful holiday, helped enormously by unexpected sunshine all week."

The cottage is delightful, small but perfectly formed, storage space was an issue but we managed fine. The bed was exceptionally comfortable! The location is excellent with easy access to several good beaches and towns; most are dog friendly. The area around the holiday cottages is stunning with beautiful views and the private beach just a short partly steep walk away. Our dog adored the alpaca and dragged us to see them each morning! Our only issue was with the plethora of cushions on the bed; where to put them when you want to get in? We would love to go back next year.

Cottage a bit short on electrical sockets - but the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever come across in self-catered accommodation.
