This 600-year-old cottage is a shabby chic abode, boasting characterful features, and an intriguing history, with the navel commander Richard Grenville, who was an explorer and fought against the Spanish Armada, being born here.

Enter into this lovely property and discover a quaint, characterful sitting room, with fresh white painted walls, and an eye-catching woodburning stove resting in a traditional hearth.

Here roof beams thread the ceiling above your head, whilst tasteful furniture beckons you to recline with a coffee as you plan the day ahead of you.

Ascend the stairs to find the kitchen/diner on the first floor, an opulent space with a contemporary kitchen housing a great selection of amenities to cater to your culinary needs, as well as a dining table where guests can create a hearty meal.

When sleep calls, retire to the second floor and freshen up in the shower room.

Afterwards, select one of the two well-presented bedrooms, with options including a spacious double and a welcoming twin.
