"Property comfortable but tired."
Well situated. Excellent kettle and water pressure. Would have been much better with a working hoover, a high chair, a heated rail to dry wet coats and a few games.. Carpets and lounge cushions grubby. Cobwebs. Broken chairs in garden x 2 and bathroom lights x 3.. Chipped plate and cracked dish. Freezer had not been cleaned for months. Thick ice hiding broken drawer. Shower drain blocked with hair and debris. Water leaked rapidly across bathroom floor onto bedroom carpet, down thru ceiling into hall cupboard. This was also very dirty. Next door having new drive laid so woken by noisy workmen and pneumatic drill. Thank you for sending the tea pot and chocolates. These were enjoyed.
We are sorry to have received your poor, largely exaggerated and in places untrue review of our property. It was a predictable review given the damage to the smashed conservatory door that we were disappointed wasn’t reported during your stay, costing us 2 days of our holiday to rectify. I am assuming the hoover was an operator error as it was working fine last week and we are sorry you didn’t find the large cupboard of games and puzzles under the TV. According to 3 lots of close neighbours the next door drive noise was for one morning only. The long hair from the previous guests which caused the shower to block was unfortunate and our cleaner has been asked to check this in future. We aim to keep the property in excellent order throughout the season and always encourage honest, constructive feedback. Property Owner

"Fantastic house and outdoor space."
Very nicely and comfortably furnished and all the useful amenities like dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it for a family vacation! Nb. it would be useful to have a bigger/second bin outside and information about recycling points and day of bin collection.
