  • "The flat is great as a base and has everything you need."

The kitchen is well-equipped, although it took a while to figure out how to work the oven, but we got there in the end! If anyone is reading this and wants to know how to switch the oven on, you need to select the hand symbol on the timer. There’s a dishwasher and an under-counter fridge. The small dining area is comfortable, and the living space has a large sofa and a modern TV. Both bedrooms have super comfortable beds, wardrobes, and dressing areas. Everything was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The flat is up two flights of stairs, but they’re not too steep. The laundry room is outside and shared with other guests. It would be helpful to have a small stick vacuum or long-handled brush available, as the Henry vacuum provided is quite heavy and needs to be carried up the stairs. Check-in and check-out times could be a little earlier and later, respectively.

  • "Yes lovely apartment ."

In the wash house the washing was dirty the drawers were dirty and clogged up. The ironing board was also dirty and the iron really unusable The settee in the front room was very uncomfortable with very low back which you couldn’t sit back and relax on . Apart from these things the apartment was lovely and we enjoyed our stay there . It’s the the second year we’ve stayed there and I’m sure we will again

(1 & 4) The accommodation is lovely and modern, clean and well equipped.Ken was also very accommodating and got us a stair gate and we had a high chair to use too. Having access to laundry room is also amazing!! This is a great location to explore Devon from and we did great trips to all of our favourite places from here all within 20/30mins away.

  • "This is a very well maintained property."

Well placed for the town and Promenade. The pictures are, of course, accurate but do not show the amount of space and size of the living space and one of the bedrooms which are both generous. While we had a winter break and the weather was not always good this provide a very comfortable and well equipped indoor space to enjoy. The owner had gone into make sure heating was on for us when we arrived and gave early notice that we could enter in advance of the set time. Highly recommended.

Everything spotless. Kitchen well stocked. Very good location for seafront and shops, easy walk to station. Sofa a bit uncomfortable, little support , bed comfy. Towels a bit small and thin. Number of stairs to flat took us by surprise but it is on the top floor !

  • "We had a wonderful holiday at Beach Rose."

We travelled to Teignmouth by train and found it a really convenient apartment being within easy walking distance of the station and all local amenities. Beach Rose is very comfortable and modern and we would thoroughly recommend it. We would also recommend a visit to Powderham Castle and the Exeter Cathedral roof tour if you can tear yourself away from the beauty of the coast.

This was a lovely apartment but it did have a couple of little niggles The heating was a little confusing and took a bit of keeping on top of to keep the place warm (it was November so I would have preferred a setting to keep it on) And the sofa wasn't the most comfortable thing to sit on which made cozy nights in a bit of a chore But as far as location it was perfect, just minutes from the front and the town and the trains are really good for a night out if you want a change of scene Parking is easy if you buy the weekly pass from the council and the carpark directly opposite is good for 4-hours so no rush to get up and as long as you come back after 2pm you are ok for the rest of the day as you only pay up to 6pm

  • "We had a lovely stay."

The beds were very comfy. The flat was clean and had everything that we needed for a week's holiday. The welcome goodies were appreciated and the owner called us up beforehand to let us know that we could check in earlier if we wanted to. The only feedback for improvement would be bigger bath towels (too small for an adult!) and providing a bin in the bathroom, but we just moved one from the bedroom. We bought the recommended weekly parking ticket which you can use in any of the local carparks around Teignmouth. Nice shops, bakeries and galleries nearby and the lovely sea front for walks.

  • "Beach Rose was a fantastic apartment to stay in."

It was at the top of price list during the summer holidays but the finish of the flat and facilities within it were top notch and we weren't disappointed considering what we paid. It's in a great location for the beach, pubs and local shops. The car park opposite has spaces in it outside of peak times for easy parking. The bigger 24hr car park a short walk away was useful but often it took a few laps to find a space. Absolutely prime location for spending time in Teignmouth, and a great base if you want drive and explore other towns. Only thing I'd say is if you like a dark bedroom, bring an eye mask!

the rooms are a good distance apart as we had a baby with us and were able to put him down and he couldn't here us. Would recommend this apartment to anyone. If there is a down side it is the two staircases but on the other hand you don't need to go to the gym.

Use of the laundry room was a massive bonus with 2 young children. There is nothing I would change the apartment is perfect. Some beach or restaurant recommends might be a nice add to the owners book as the beaches are all very different and restaurants awkward to negotiate at the moment with all the restrictions so spent a lot of time ringing around and booking things up.
