Only issue with microwave not cleaned and there was no chopping board.Lovely touch with the bottle of wine and chocolate biscuits.

Spotlessly clean. Everything provided including bed linen and towels. Would highly recommend.

  • "Nice place, well located between the shops and the beach."

View over the car park not great... Obviously recently done up, neat and tidy. Small but OK for 2 people (shower cubicle rather small for 6ft bloke!). Could be better equipped - eg bin in the bathroom and we had to go and buy dishcloths. Really needs somewhere to hang wet coats! And ideally somewhere to put shoes to stop treading sand into the carpet - we tried to find the vacuum as per the instructions but it wasn't there... Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We found it comfortable and well maintained. We did a few simple meals and the appliances all worked fine . We parked across the road with a week pass ticket in a council carpark priced at £40 . Ringo app on mobile. There was usually a space available . We would use this venue again

Clean. Very well equipped -it had everything I needed. Excellent location. Situated in the middle of everything. A short walk to the seafront shops and back beach. I would definitely recommend. I had a lovely stay.

The addition of cost hooks on doors would be useful too. Long stay parking for the week was available at the train station where you can pay via the Apcoa Connect App.

  • "Loverly apartment, everything we needed."

I thought it needed a small shelf in the bathroom. We were very uncomfortable in the heat in the living room., it Does need some blackout blinds with the shutters like in the bedroom. Between 4pm and 9pm it really was unpleasant. It was extremely clean and we had a good holiday. The owner was very helpful with the parking information.Thank you. Andy/Anne

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Sea Aster, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. At the time of your stay the weather was particularly warm and as the living room catches the evening sun some warmth is unavoidable. The venetian blinds would have gone some way to help keep the sun out but as we all know the weather is not in our control! Property Owner

  • "The apartment is in a good location to the seafront & shops."

On arrival i found entering the building disappointing...as you can smell smoking in the foyer and up the stairs. Then on entering the apartment i felt claustrophobic due to the heavy fire doors both being shut to the bedroom and lounge. The apartment was very clean & tidy. First night i did not sleep due to the bed being too firm and the duvet being extremely hot. I contacted the owner who rectified the issue with a summerweight duvet. The sofa is also very firm! The hob takes forever to heat up and the oven does not cook to time. It took 3 hours to cook a roast for 2 people. Also...as the previous guest mentioned..you can hear the guests upstairs walking around their apartment day & night and entrance doors banging. Enjoyed out weekend sightseeing. Outdoors was more enjoyable than being in! Come Monday morning we had drilling and banging all day. We stuck it to the Wednesday then saw a planning proposal for a conversion on the property next door on the lamppost outside. We were not happy the owner was aware of this yet happy to let his apartments out. It clearly says on the proposal works to be started the week we was there. Contacted the owner who denied it and made it difficult to get a response from. We ended up reporting the issues to Sykes who were very supportive in the matter. We left and received a full refund. Would not recommend this place at all as in the description it states its relaxing. We found it far from relaxing!

  • "The apartment was clean and welcoming."

The TV and wifi worked well. The furniture was new. I found the pillows hard and bulky and the bed was firm and so I did not sleep that well but other visitors may not have the same problem. We could hear the people upstairs moving about at night and on the weekend there was some noise from outside on the street. The apartment was near the seafront and not far from the railway station. I had purchased a weekly car park ticket before travelling but we had difficulty on arrival finding a car park space - perhaps because of being more busy in the school holidays? In the end we did find a space in the Quay long stay car park and decided to leave the car there all week and use the train to get around, which we found relaxing.

Exceptionally clean and tidy. A lovely welcome gift on arrival for which we were impressed and grateful. Welcomed by Sara who ensured we knew where everything was situated and how to access and very helpful with our cases. We would most definately recommend the property and hope to revisit in the future.

  • "We stayed at Sea Aster at the end of August, the apartment is beautiful and everything is provided that you would need."

The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. I was concerned about the parking situation before we arrived but this was not a problem, we always found a space in either the short stay or long stay car park when required. The apartment is very central with easy access to shops, bars, restaurants, beach and quay. We would definitely recommend.

  • "The flat is well-equipped and very comfortable; it is smart, modern, well decorated and furnished with a combination of IKEA & M&S."

It overlooks a car park but the location is fantastic - really close to the beach, estuary & the shops. There was a welcome pack waiting, which was a lovely touch. I needed to contact the owner to check something during my stay & they were helpful & replied very quickly. There was clear communication about access & key collection. I had a fantastic stay & would happily recommend the flat.

  • "The pull chords to adjust the window blinds do not hang low enough such that I could reach them only on tiptoe or standing on a chair."

Both entry and vacating times are inconvenient when travelling by train but I assume these are dictated by additional protection arrangements related to Covid virus. These minor matters did not detract from the excellent state of the flat which is situated within easy walking distance of beaches and shops. I would not hesitate to book again,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that some elements of the property failed to meet your requirements on this occasion. We have never had any comments of this nature before and hope it was a one-off occurrence. With regards the COVID-19 process and policy, this is happening across all properties at present. We hope you can understand the need for extra precautions at this time. We are glad to hear it did not impact on your stay and that you would be keen to return. Property Owner

  • "Comfortable appartement close to shops and beaches."

All small things like dishwashing tablets, cleaning materials, etc taken care of. Friendly welcome pack. Parking is not easy so we were glad to have arranged parking on someone’s house front. Being allowed into the place at 6pm and having to leave by 9am is inconvenient, can’t imagine that getting the place ready for the next guests takes 9 hours.

  • "The apartment was excellent - well appointed and ideal for 2 people."

It's location was excellent, right in the centre of Teignmouth. It was disappointing that there was no recycling provision at the apartment, so we had to take our recycling home. There is no parking at the apartment which was a real downside and a source of much irritation - having to move the car at least twice a day. Visiting in the summer would be a no-no as the parking was under a bit of pressure in October!

  • "The apartment exceeded all expectations and more, we couldn't fault the property."

We didn't expect the sea views we got from the apartment and the location couldn't have been better. The ease of getting the keys and checking into the property was brilliant. The property had everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen. The property was very modern throughout and you can tell it has recently been refurbished, would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and we are so pleased to hear that your enjoyed your stay at Sea Aster and hope you will return. It is important to note (for anyone hoping for a panoramic sea view) that only glimpses of the sea can be seen from this property. Property Owner
