  • "This apartment is a little gem."

Central to the shops and amenities, the promenade and sea are literally 50 yards away. There is plenty of car parking around also. The ground floor, dog friendly apartment presented as modern throughout and exceptionally clean. The shower is very good and powerful, the bed is very comfortable. I found the host to be easily contacted and extremely helpful, he came within the hour to sort a couple of teething problems for us. I Would highly recommend the apartment for a stay in Devon. Teignmouth is lovely, has lots of dog friendly pubs and cafes and people are friendly. Unfortunately for us the weather wasn’t kind which put a little damper on our break away.

  • "Would highly recommend this apartment!"

It was in a great location and very comfortable. It has everything you’d need - the only thing I’d change is the bin to a pedal bin! Also had a great welcome pack - thank you for a great stay

Location was excellent. Parking was ok in the long stay car park just around the corner. We would like to book again for next year.

  • "A lovely clean property with everything we (a couple) needed."

Position is great, very near to the sea and shops. Someone has also done an amazing job growing flowers in containers which makes the approach to the property very attractive. During the peak summer months you will need to park in one of the car parks. There is a short stay one very close by and a long stay @5mins walk. They are not particularly expensive. The information does say that there isn't a dedicated parking space so we were prepared for this.

  • "Perfect holiday apartment for a couple."

Lovely and bright and clean and uncluttered and new! Very comfortable sofa and king size bed. Kitchen small but adequately equipped and it's nice that it's off the living room, rather than in it. Only slight downside is the noise of the seagulls at night, but I guess you get that anywhere by the coast. Dog enjoyed her holiday too, with the Den and the seafront just a short walk away.

  • "Thank you for making our stay so lovely."

The welcome wine, biscuits and cheese straws were much appreciated. Sea Thrift is a beautiful apartment, spacious, modern and had everything we needed, truly a home from home. We absolutely love Devon and this was the perfect base, being close to the beach and all the amenities. We met the lovely housekeeper but we didn't need any assistance, everything was so well thought out, we won't hesitate to book again, many thanks, Karen & David x

  • "Great location and modern, well equipped apartment."

Bed was comfortable. Some cleanliness comments, landing window sill had a number of dead flies, so had clearly been missed also the inside recess of the toilet seat lid was visibly unclean. The sofa or cushions had a not so pleasant odour. Perhaps would benefit from steam cleaning or shampoo vax treatment.

. Superb location. Beautifully presented, comfortable and well-appointed holiday cottage. Dog friendly too! Lovely welcome gifts on arrival. Owner Ken and Housekeeper Sarah very friendly and helpful. Parking easily resolved with online purchase of weekly permit for adjacent public car park. Highly recommended.

  • "Very clean and modern, the welcome gifts were a nice touch."

The only drawback was there was no battery for the hoover. The flat is very handily placed for the sea front, the back beach and the town center. Anybody taking notice of this, give the jolly sailor a wide berth if your going for a meal, it's not very good. A further word of warning...... I bought a weekly ticket for parking as you have to pay everywhere. This was from the teignbridge council Web site. There's a car park across the road but you can only park for 4 hours. Sko if there was space available I parked on the road (den crescent). I got a parking ticket. After ringing the council I was told a different council is in charge of the street parking , but it doesn't say this on the plates on the street.

  • "This is a great place to stay in Teignmouth- recently refurbished, it’s clean fresh and comfortable."

The location was perfect. Two min walk and your on the sea beach - walk two mins the other way and your on the river beach and viewing all the little boats. Your also on top of the Town with its fascinating array of little shops. Plenty of pubs to choose from - we liked The Ship Inn but for a feast of a breakfast you have to go to the Oystercatcher. Only issue is the car parking - there is a car park directly opposite but has a max stay of 4hrs. Very limited street parking - so recommend that you park in Quay Street which is long stay £4.40 a day. Again it’s only a 2-3 min walk. Overall - loved the accommodation and thoroughly enjoyed Teignmouth.

It could do with a bit of bleach.

Thank you for your feedback. The owner and ourselves wish to ensure you that the building is soundproofed according to building regulations. I have raised the cleaning points with the owner. Property Owner
