"Sunday Cottage is absolutely perfect."
Extreme peaceful. Set in a lovely area. Perfect place to stay to relax and re-energize. Close enough to amenities.

"We had a lovely time at Sunday Cottage, friendly and charming village, New inn pub was equally friendly and good food."
Parking was a little tight at times. Cottage was very clean and we had everything we needed. Location was convenient to explore central Devon including Dartmoor. Castle Drogo was a highlight. Scones, flowers and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch . We will definitely be returning. Thank you Elsa

"Superb cottage in the beautiful village of Sampford Courtenay."
Turn off the main road and you are transported back into an age of stunning thatched-roofed cottages. The cottage had all the amenities you require while away from home and a very comfortable super king-size bed. Thank you

"A beautiful cottage in a charming village."
We had a wonderful few days and thank you to the owners for brilliant communication and help!

"Appreciated the clean and comfortable cottage we were very happy and comfortable there."
Would have liked step by step hand written instructions in lay man terms on how to use dishwasher and oven . For example dishwasher instructions ambiguously tell you about buttons 1and 2 but they are blank! Eventually managed dishwasher. However, I Gave up on the oven just too complicated to use. Discussed with my daughter in law about this and she said she had had same types of problems with modern appliances. Next time I will take my air fryer quick and so easy to use don’t even need instruction book. Hope feedback helps thank you for a lovely stay in cottage in friendly village.

"A beautiful cottage in an excellent location for visiting both North and South Devon."
The facilities were second to none. If I have one very small comment it's that the steps between the kitchen and lounge are quite steep and perhaps could benefit from a handrail to help those less mobile. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay again when visiting the area.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back on the future. Property Owner

"Sunday cottage was a most beautiful cottage in the prettiest Devon village full of thatched cottages."
Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

"Sunday Cottage was a really lovely place to stay."
The beds were huge and so comfortable and the cottage was very spacious for four people. It would have been useful if some washing-up liquid, cloth and dishwasher tabs had been provided as there was nothing to wash any of the dishes with. Or we should have been notified to bring our own? There was also only 3 cereal bowls (maybe the 4th was broken) so more crockery would have been useful.
Thank you for the feedback. We normally do leave a welcome cleaning pack and I am really sorry that you did not find one on arrival. I wish you had let me know. This must have been an oversight on my behalf of which I am truly sorry. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Sunday Cottage. Property Owner

"Lovely comfortable place to stay."
Lovely walks and lots of local places to visit and lovely pubs to eat in. Milk and tea/coffee hot chocolate and the scones cream and jam was a nice welcome. Would stay again.

"Great cottage in a lovely village with a cosy pub."
Opposite the church and we enjoyed hearing the bells on the hour. Parking was on the road opposite and was always a space without a problem. Friendly and helpful neighbours too. The cottage has everything you'd need and more, thanks for a great stay!
