  • "We enjoyed our short break greatly and the view form the apartment was wonderful BUT the washing machine did not work and the vacuum cleaner was badly broken ( it had a note pinned to it saying it was broken already )."

There was a lack of basic kitchen equipment ( small items like potato masher for example ).

  • "First impression when you arrive isn’t good the outside steps and steps inside look unkempt but once in the property it is very nice, clean and with everything you want for your stay, nice welcoming gift, wonderful sea view."

I would recommend this property as long as you are able to climb 2 flights of stairs, which is clearly stated in the description.

  • "A good place for a base to explore along the coast."

The amenities were very good and warmth when needed with a hot shower. The lounge and bathroom window needs attention for wind proofing as they could really blow through at times. A very nice apartment overall though.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay!"

The views and sounds of of the sea from our windows were breathtaking. Welcome gift was a very kind touch (thank you). Bedrooms were cosy and everything felt very homely and clean. Easy to access the key and entrance. Only issues: Some of the single bed slats were loose and the washing machine leaked some water (please look into this). The rest of the kitchen was perfect, well equipped with lots of cutlery, pots and utensils which made preparing dinner easy (I especially liked the touch-control electric hob). Will certainly visit again. We miss it already.

  • "White cliffs is a fantastic two bed apartment, everything you need for self catering and was spotless throughout."

The view over the sea and Seaton Beach was breathtaking. Two very large windows at front of apartment was spectacular at any time of the day. Quiet location and didn't hear a peep from other resident's in this beautiful building. Seaton is a short easy walk along the coastal path. Very good location to other sea side places too Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer, Charmouth Beach etc all with a very good bus service from Seaton. Useful Tesco store in Seaton too, handy as we were self catering. Lots of different places to eat and have a drink as well. Would 100% recommend this apartment for a holiday in Seaton, we would not hesitate to book up if was visiting Seaton again.

  • "A lovely cozy, clean apartment with fantastic views of Seaton and the sea ."

There is everything you need plus more for a perfect relaxing break. The goody bag was much appreciated. We were lucky and had glorious weather for our four night break and we thoroughly recommend a trip to Colyton on the Seaton Tramway and also a walk to Beer along the coastal path. Beer is a beautiful little village with a sheltered beach with lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely consider coming back to this lovely apartment.

  • "The apartment is very well equipped, very comfortable, clean and has views second to none."

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Travel tip - Parking throughout East Devon can be expensive; however, a 6 day parking permit can be obtained from eastdevon.gov.uk/parking for £25, covering all East Devon council car parks. No need to visit any ticket machines. No worries about time (unless using a short-term car park).

  • "We were disappointed and concerned on arrival at the outside stairs and entrance door and the inside communal area and stairway which obviously had not been cleaned or maintained for some time."

As a first impression this was not good. Fortunately the inside of the apartment was much better apart from the kitchen sink which really needs replacing as it’s badly stained.

I didn't have time to write a review in your visitor book. Welcome pack was great, everything clean and tidy. Easy access to town and the beach made it nice and easy to get around. Would definitely love to return as we only had a couple of days which isn't enough at all.

  • "We enjoyed our stay at White Cliff."

The flat was very comfortable and clean with great views. There were a few minor niggles. The bathroom sink plug doesn't work. When my husband wanted to shave he had to put the plastic bowl from the kitchen in the bathroom sink so that he could have a bowl of water. It was nice to see all the eco hand soap and cleaning products but there was no obvious way to recycle our rubbish. There was a note in the book saying something about info on the back of the door but there was nothing on the flat door or the outside door. The heating was great. Despite the cold wet weather outside we were cosy in the apartment.

Kids loved it and it’s really quiet and peaceful. Beautiful sea views and we were lucky to spot some dolphins for two days in a row. close to everything you need and places to visit. Can’t wait to come back again in the near future. Would make the place even nicer if a lift could be sorted for people with mobility issues so they don’t feel left out to rent the second floor.

Could have done with more comfy seating as the sofas were very snug for 2 people. The shower temperature dial would not move and so the temperature could not be changed and was extremely hot! Would recommend as location was perfect for a short walk into Seaton

Thank you for your lovely comments about the property. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the shower temperature controls. We have an internal maintenance team and are always available to attend to such issues when reported by guests. I will ask our team to attend and investigate the issue so that it is resolved for the next guests stay. Property Owner
