  • "We enjoyed our short break greatly and the view form the apartment was wonderful BUT the washing machine did not work and the vacuum cleaner was badly broken ( it had a note pinned to it saying it was broken already )."

    There was a lack of basic kitchen equipment ( small items like potato masher for example ).

The handily placed breakfast bar is the perfect spot for pulling up a stool, pouring a drink and enjoying a chat with the designated chef while dinner is being prepared.

There is a more formal dining table around which guests can enjoy long, lingering meals and make the most of being in each other’s company and really get into the holiday spirit.

Check out Seaton Jurassic centre which gives a fascinating insight into the Jurassic history of the region or hop on the tram to Colyton another great place to visit with a wealth of wildlife and birds to see at Seaton Marshes Nature Reserve.

A short but scenic drive away is the delightful town of Branscombe which has a number of historic buildings of note including the Old Bakery and Forge and is home to Branscombe Mouth beach.

A little further along the coast is the attractive town of Sidmouth which is worth a visit in itself and has some wonderful countryside in the surrounding area as well as the wonderful Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary.

Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
