  • "A perfect spot, so peaceful and with great views."

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We had one slight issue with the WiFi which was remedied within the hour, excellent communication and service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willow Cottage.

Quiet setting with lovely views. Debbie and Steve who own the cottage are a lovely couple, very welcoming and helpful.

  • "Very clean and comfortable."

Larger than it looked on photos. Great location for exploring North Devon with great beaches to the west and lots of other attractions close by got kids and adults alike. The trains at Woody Bay and Lynton fenicular were a hit as well as Exmoor Zoo. One suggested improvement : on the how to get there the What3words for the central postcode is provided. This needs to be changed to ///beads.boldest.soaps which is in the car park. It could have been a problem for our pre-ordered supermarket delivery.

  • "Great property which had just about everything you needed."

One of our favourites, if not the best. Points to note though: - WiFi is incredibly slow 0.5 to 2.5 Mbps. So bad BBC Iplayer wouldn't work at times. Garden area seems to be a work in progress (fantastic view of the scenery from the bench marred by Clothes line and septic tank). Area needs weeding and some sort of planting scheme- shrubs/flowers etc.).

Thank you so much for your feedback. So pleased you enjoyed the cottage! We stayed in the cottage ourselves for two days and also found the WiFi slow. The comms guy came out out last Monday to rectify the situation. The parking area was extended two weeks ago so we now need to let the ground settle and then we can look at the area. The bench is located in the meadow so we don’t have plants in there, it’s more wild flowers in that area. Really appreciate your comments. Thank you again. Debbie Property Owner

  • "Fantastic cottage and decorated to a high standard."

Had everything we needed and more. Comfortable and quiet. Would definitely recommend. The only thing could do with a blind near the front door as when watching the tv the sun shines through not a critism just a recommendation. Thank you me and my wife had a wonderful stay.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Willow Cottage!"

The hosts were so helpful and friendly. They took our children to see the goats next door and they were thrilled! The cottage is very clean and fresh and was great for a stay exploring the North Devon coastline. The children enjoyed playing outside too on the lawned area which is fenced off. Thanks again for a great stay!

  • "Lovely modern cottage with well equipped kitchen ."

A chair in downstairs bedroom would be nice. Otherwise much effort has gone into achieving very comfortable accommodation. A minor detail is Hook on downstairs bedroom door which could only be reached by someone over 7 feet tall! Thanks for friendly and thoughtful hosts.

  • "What a great place for the 4 of us to stay."

Modern, clean, comfortable and in a relaxed setting. Convenient location for Combe Martin and nearby beach destinations. Downstairs spacious open plan living area and kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms perfect with lovely big shower. Upstairs we loved the sloping ceiling and there was a good amount of space for twin beds and another modern bathroom. Outside we had glorious views over farm fields and a little picnic bench was ideal for coffee with only the sheep for company - bliss, very relaxing. On our departure the owners were there and we fed back a couple of minor details that we would change - eg automatic timer of motion sensor hall light - and the owners said they'd address it immediately. Friendly and hospitable. Would recommend this place to stay to couples and small families

  • "This converted barn was lovely."

It was immaculate, super clean and really comfortable. The only thing we found a problem with is that the sliding door to the twin room upstairs is a bit small for the door frame space so the light comes in early in the morning from the open plan room downstairs. It was an early wakeup. Minor, but worth considering if you like a lie in.

  • "This is a lovely cottage."

The whole place has been renovated to a very high spec. It has everything you need. It is comfortable, clean, well equipped and is in a beautiful setting with easy parking next to the property. Having 2 ensuite bathrooms is a huge bonus. Everything seems to have been thought of...even a light sensor to illuminate the way to the bathroom when us oldies needed it in the night! The owner is very friendly and was very kind when we had car troubles at the beginning of our stay. Thank you for a most enjoyable few days.
