The property

Puffins is a delightful two-bedroom cottage situated in Sidmouth, a regency seaside town situated on the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast in East Devon.

With an enclosed rear courtyard garden and sleeping up to four guests, this pretty Edwardian cottage is within walking distance of the town centre and seafront, making it ideal for those wishing to enjoy a relaxing seaside break at any time of the year.

Step inside to find a bright living area, with tasteful and comfortable décor throughout.

The inviting sitting area is a wonderful space for sitting back and relaxing in front of the TV, with an electric flame-effect fire for the cooler evenings.

The adjoining kitchen is perfectly equipped for self-catering holidays so you can create tasty meals to enjoy with your holiday companions in the dining area, perhaps accompanied by a glass of wine.

Head upstairs and you will find the two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin room.

The spacious bathroom with a bath and thermostatic shower over is also located on this floor, where you can relax in the tub after a day out walking or opt for a quick, refreshing rinse if you're short on time.

Take a walk along ‘The Byes’, a riverside walk which follows the River Sid into Sidmouth, while the town of Sidmouth is full of West Country charm with a wonderful selection of independent shops, local crafts, and coffee shops.

Nestled beneath majestic red cliffs with award-winning Blue Flag beaches, the town has been a firm favourite with visitors for hundreds of years with its mix of shingle and sand, with rock pools waiting to be explored at low tide.

Take a leisurely stroll along the esplanade or relax with an ice cream, before taking a refreshing dip in the sea.

Popular with water enthusiasts, paddle board and kayak hire are available, with the beach a haven for surfers.

The nearby Donkey Sanctuary is home to hundreds of donkeys and is open throughout the year, perfect for animal enthusiasts or a day out with the little ones.

For times when you chose not to cook, there is an excellent range of pubs, wine bars and restaurants nearby, many serving local seafood and dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.

When it comes to days out, you will be spoilt for choice including the fishing village of Beer with its pretty beach and galleries, or Seaton where you can hop on the tram for a scenic journey through miles of unspoilt countryside along the River Axe estuary.
