Flowers in the rooms, a cream tea on arrival plus treats for our dog and water and feeding bowls in the hallway. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We can't recommend this property highly enough. The lodge was exceptionally clean with everything you need for a relaxing time away. John & Jill had even left new shower gels in each shower, freshly made scones, cream & jam and also Prosecco for our arrival which was very much welcomed. There was a beautiful bunch of lilies & roses left in the living area and freshly cut roses in each of the bedrooms. Tea, coffee & sugar were also left. The location was very peaceful in a farm yard sounding way
