  • "Very warm property clean and quiet."

    Near to town centre and beach and marina, altogether in an excellent position. Parking secure and easily accessible. Very convenient for public transport. Some hanging facilities and shelving for toiletries would be nice in bathroom . Excellent recycling facility available in garage behind a keypad door. Would certainly return.

  • "We enjoyed our stay."

    The views are not extraordinary but access to the town centre and sea-front is good. Comfort is Ok (we were able to visit my daughter's house to sit in comfortable settees with higher backs), the bed was very comfortable and food prep facilities good. As for Wifi, we happened upon one of the two apparently available connections which was working well. The TV had two identical remotes which may be of benefit to TV devotees - or maybe not. Refuse and recycling don't seem to be taken seriously here. The wall notice in the appartment asked us to take food, paper/plastics etc, and refuse to their respective bins in the parking area or maybe outside (??), but we could only find a very poorly managed bin for recycling of sorts in the basement, but nothing for refuse or food - which we left tidily bagged in the apartment on leaving.

  • "We stayed for over 3 weeks and probably tested all."

    Because we were unable to return the key to the key safe, we lost the opportunity for a free weekly turnover clean and new linen. All of our issues were respected and resolved, where possible. In the kitchen department, there was sufficient faculties to perform once, before a rewash was required. There was some evidence that, the facilities were aging and some failing. The basis of hire is that, only the rooms are included and all faculties are complementary, only. Given this, we have booked for 6 weeks in 2025. Our friends also want to join us in 2025.

  • "Lovely apartment - very clean, bright and well maintained and in a good position for easy walking access to the town, railway station and sea front."

    We would have given it five stars but were disappointed by a problem with the WiFi which Sykes assured us it had been fixed a couple of days before we went. It clearly hadn't. However the owner was very helpful and managed to set up a temporary fix for a few days whilst waiting for an engineer.

  • "The flat itself was of a high standard."

    Within easy walking distance of shops, restaurant's, sea front and buses. Important as we choose not to bring our car on holiday. A combination of bus trips and Stuart line cruises allowed us to explore the Exe as far as Topsham and along the coastal resorts as far as Seaton quite easily. The only reason I have not given a five star rating is the pub nearby on Friday and Saturday had loud music until midnight the effect of which could be substantially reduce by closing the bedroom window had it not been so hot. The answer may be to provide good quality fan(s). Apart from that thank you for a very enjoyable weeks stay.

  • "Lovely flat enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, one small criticism was the matteress dipped in the middle and it stated the bed was a king size but the mattress was a double in a king size frame ."
