"Lovely light and airy apartment and all on one level so if anyone has mobility issues it’s an ideal place to holiday."
Brilliant views and communal gardens are lovely to walk around. Short safe walk to the beach which is great for sunsets. Sadly it’s simple cheap things that dropped our ratings, no toilet rolls on arrival, no pedal bin bags, mould on shower curtain and slight mould in en- suite shower. All cheap and quick to rectify? It’s those things that make a difference.

"Views were good."
Not really value for money compared to other places we stayed at. Bed was uncomfortable. When we arrived late Sunday night there was no toilet paper. Never had that before. Overall it was okay.
-
"Great spacious property, clean, comfortable well fitted out, close to beach."
-
"The apartment was quite clean and well equipped."
Lovely views and quite close to the beaches, golf club etc. overall we had a great holiday.
-
"This was our fourth stay here."
We love the apartment, it has everything you need. It is perfect for dogs and as we always have our golden retriever Sam with us that is very important. We will be returning at some point as we love the area. Two dog friendly beaches within a 10 min walk, what more could a dog want!
-
"Super apartment, clean and well equipped."
Fantastic location where you can access the local beach and other nearby coves. Absolutely loved our stay and will certainly book again.

"I’ve stayed here a few times, we love it, new comfort’s since last year, very good, I think the next move forward to keep this apartment up to receiving full five stars would be some new beds."
This is not really a complaint we just think the mattress on each bed is overly soft?? , overall this is truly a lovely apartment and a wonderful place to have a holiday

"This was our fourth visit to No 4 TBH and we have already booked to stay there again later in the year."
It's in a great location, just 300/400 yards from a lovely sandy beach and the South-West Coast Path.
-
"Perfect holiday apartment within 8 minutes walk of the beach."
Clean, well equipped and a great location in the block.

"We adored our Christmas holiday stay, there was even a little Christmas tree!"
It was so easy, peaceful and comfortable and very spacious which meant we were not on top of each other. The light in our apartment was especially good, and we felt very lucky with this find. We were two adults, 2 teenagers and little Bichon Frise dog. The apartment and grounds are stunningly well maintained and walking to beautiful places such as HopeCove, or Yarma and South Milton Sands is easy. Really loved the calm and the spaciousness, will book again, thank you.

"This last visit was the third for my wife and myself in last three years."
I hope that speaks volumes. We intend to rebook for next year. The apartment is extremely spacious, well appointed and very comfortable with lovely views to the distant sea and along the coastline. It is situated on the ground floor of the sunny West corner of the building with direct access to the garden, which was ideal for our little dog! I just love swimming off the beautiful sandy beach down the lane at South Milton Sands - some 300 yards away. There is also direct access to the South West Coast Path at the end of the lane there. I recommend a clifftop walk beside the golf links to Bantham and a pub lunch at The Sloop! If you go in the other direction then head over to Hope Cove and a pre-booked lunch at The Lobster Pod in one of their pods.

"The beach house is idyllically situated close to the beaches in Thurlestone."
We took our furry friend and we were able to walk him along the cliff top paths all the way down to the beach and nearby bar and restaurants. The house itself is wonderful, comfortable and being a corner plot gives dual aspect to the beautiful views on offer. I would highly recommend and will definitely be booking a return visit.

"Look like retirement home."
Too much same colour beige every rooms and walls. Where is electric charger for cars, nothing there. Otherwise fine. Nice views from apartment but beware very narrow roads for approx. 2 miles in to main roads

"Well proportioned with great views in a peaceful setting"
-
"It didn't cause us a problem but I feel the info should state that the single beds are not 3 feet, someone larger could have been uncomfortable."
Also the distance from the car parking bay to the apartment was much greater than expected and despite all being on ground level could cause people with mobility issues greater than those of my group real problems. Having said all that we had a wonderful stay and hope to return next year!

"First rate apartment."
Modern, clean and spacious with lovely garden. All necessary facilities available. One allocated parking space for the apartment is provided. Tablets provided for dishwasher and soap powder for the washing machine. Short ten minute walk to beach and if you take cliff footpath from there you will find a glorious beach cafe on the cliff - not only snacks but also substantial meals are served- even in January. Looks deceive!

"The accommodation was perfect for our needs, well equipped, clean and comfortable."
The surrounding area was beautiful.

"In a great location, property net expectations with all needed and very convenient access to local area."

"We were really happy with the accommodation at 4 Thurlestone beach house."
It seemed like everything had been thought of. We were so pleased with the location being quiet and close to the coast path, we walked to Hope cove in direction and Bantham bay in the opposite direction. We were just a bit unsure of departure details as there was paperwork in the accommodation stating to leave at 9am and to remove protectors from a company called Tide. Whereas Coast and Country stated we could leave at 10 and to leave protectors on??

"The apartment is in a lovely location with sea views The communal grounds were adequately maintained and the private area for the apartment with table and chairs was good."
It was generally clean. However, the mattress cover on the double bed was stained and should have been changed prior to arrival. I note this comment was made last month and am concerned it may have been in this state for several weeks. The cleaner should be requested to check the mattress covers after each booking and change as required. Sadly it was necessary to put the dishwasher on prior to it being full owing to a lack of crockery and cutlery.
