The property

Situated in an idyllic position in the coastal village of Thurlestone, Devon is this thatched, mid-terrace home, 'Just a Cottage'.

Just moments away from south Devon's finest beaches, and boasting interiors that have been finished to a high standard, Just a Cottage is the perfect dwelling for a family of four.

After parking outside of the property, soak up the coastal breeze in the small front terrace as you unwind in your peaceful surroundings and admire this Grade II listed building.

Make your way inside to be welcomed by a charming living/dining room, with painted beams adorning the ceiling, along with ample seating for you to curl up on as you choose your favourite show to watch on the Smart TV; switch on the electric fire for some extra warmth.

Wander through to a bright and pleasant kitchen, fitted with grey, shaker-style cabinets that house ample appliances, including a slimline dishwasher and electric oven.

Continue upstairs to find two lovely bedrooms, a king-size and a cosy twin (ideally suited to children or young adult) that boast exposed beams, as well as shared access to a French-inspired bathroom, with blue glossy tiling embellishing the walls, along with a spacious, glass, walk-in shower.

The property is in a prime location, with your amenities being situated a short walk away, whilst also having a selection of seaside activities on your doorstep, from sunny beaches; Yarmer, Bantham Beach and South Milton Sands, to the Thurlestone Golf Club.

The local Village Inn offers a a tasty menu and the Thurlestone Hotel is home to a beautiful hotel restaurant, perfect for a cream tea, lunch or dinner.

There is a local well stocked shop situated close to the pretty church.

Salcombe isn't far and makes for a great outing, with access to ample beaches, shops and eateries.

The market town of Kingsbridge with its picturesque estuary is worth a visit too.

Travel to Bigbury-on-Sea, and try your hand at surfing with help from the local surf school, bask in the sun on Bigbury Beach, and when the sea is at low tide, you can walk across the waters to Burgh Island, where you can relish panoramic sea views, along with access to The Pilchard Inn.

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.
