"Dean and Tracey are a lovely couple who pulled out all the stops for our short notice of arrival."
Made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble . They ensured our stay was a happy one . We Would happily return and strongly recommend it to others
It was all our pleasure and glad you ended up with a holiday to remember, rather than forget. You are both welcome back at anytime and thank you for the positive feedback ❤️ Property Owner

"Barwood view was extremely clean and comfortable with everything needed a real home from home."
It was perfectly positioned within walking distance for seeing all that Torquay had to offer and minutes walk of lovely restaurants and a supermarket with everything you could possibly need. To travel further afield there were several ferries a day from the harbour, we didn’t use the car once. Dean & Tracey being the perfect friendly hosts giving plenty of knowledge of the area and just a text away if needed while staying quietly in the background. Will definitely return again.

"Just returned from a wonderful stay at Barwood View."
Modern, bright, super clean and welcoming with a fabulous view from the pretty veranda. Tracey and Dean are so kind and helpful without being intrusive - the perfect hosts. Ideally located for shops, entertainment and exploring South Devon, it has everything you could need for a memorable holiday. I will definitely visit Tracey and Dean again.

"The holiday experience exceeded our expectation - making it a most memorable holiday."
The cottage is very clean, fresh & the decor is calming. The cottage is within close proximity to shops, beaches, & attractions. Good surroundings & amazing views from the balcony! We can't praise Dean & Tracey enough for making our stay so flawless! We want to say thank you & we do not hesitate to recommend.

"We found Barwood View as a last minute booking after we had to cancel our holiday abroad."
Dean and Tracy were perfect hosts, they were there if you needed them but left you to it otherwise. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the apartment, to be honest I don't think the photos do it justice. It was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped to make our stay hassle free. The off road parking is also a bonus and there is provision to be able to recycle. We know the area well as we have holidayed in Torbay over the years, and the proximity to one of our favourite beaches (Meadfoot) was brilliant. We also found the coop and the pub a short walk up the road great to have on the doorstep. One little gem we also tried was the Yum Sing Chines restaurant more or less next door. Overall we had a fab week in Torquay and wouldn't hesitate to book this accommodation again.

"An excellent holiday home, really made our holiday."
The accommodation was well equipped, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The meet and greet was superb, Dean and Tracy were lovely, very thoughful and informative. The location for us was ideal just a short walk to the harbour and town centre, also really close to a main bus route. There was a local supermarket just a five minute walk with a nice pub next to it. It was a lovely base to explore all the attractions, like the sea train, where we had a boat cruise to Dartmouth for a couple of hours, then a ferry across the river and a steam train back. In all a really lovely holiday home that we would fully recommend. Liz and Brian

"We had an fantastic break with Barwood view as our base, it’s close proximity to Torquay harbour and llsham road parade with its lovely restaurants, pub and cafes was excellent."

"Fabulous stay at Barwood view!"
Dean and Tracy are lovely, and super helpful, plus quick at responding. The property was a perfect base for our 2 week holiday, we all had a fantastic time. Great location, just over 1km walk downhill to Torquay harbour, our children 7 and 9 were fine with the walk both ways. lovely beaches nearby. Thanks for an awesome stay! Would definitely recommend.

"This is a lovely flat."
There are some steep stairs up to the first floor but the view is worth it. Dean and Tracey are so lovely and welcoming and helpful. The flat is located conveniently, not too far from Torquay town centre. There are some local shops nearby which are ideal for getting some basics in and breakfast. The flat is finished to a high standard but there was a minor problem with the sink and dishwasher which Dean came round to look at immediately. We declined his offer of getting a plumber in as we didn’t want the inconvenience during our holiday but Dean was very happy to sort it out for us if we had wanted him to - You can’t really ask for more than that.
