"This site is absolutely lovely."
It is perfectly kept and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The little shop and the "field kitchen" give great value when they are open. We left a day early though. Partly because of expected bad weather and partly because I couldn't do another night on the mattress/pillow/far too low sofa. I did tell the owner when we were checking out and bless her she said that if I had told her about the mattress she would have changed it for me!!!

"Lovely holiday park, great location for the local area and plenty of parking."
I didn’t need to use the EV charger but it’s great knowing there’s one if we get stuck. We tried the new food station too on three occasions and was impressed by the quality of the food. Already booked to go back next year.

"This was our third visit to Twelve Oaks Farm."
The location is excellent for getting around a vast area of Devon. The site is very well maintained and the staff are always helpful. We were grateful for the welcome pack.. a nice touch, the cakes were delicious. The lodge has plenty of storage and is in a nice position. We didn’t use the swimming pool although plenty of others did.

"We really enjoyed our stay, the site was well run, clean and tidy."
The Lodge was just as good, well situated, and well spaced out. Definitely a candidate for another visit.
-
"The property is wonderful and the owners and staff are all very helpful, nice people which is just as well because Sykes’ customer service was appalling."
I booked this holiday last year but it never appeared in my bookings on my account. I contacted Sykes on their messaging service - and received an automated reply - on 7/2/24 and never heard another word until a week before our holiday. Thank goodness Clare at Twelve Oaks Farm was able to reassure us about our booking. Twelve Oaks 10/10, Sykes 0/10. I’ve used Sykes for years and, in fact, have another cottage booked for September but I doubt that I will use them again after that. Total lack of customer care

"Excellent lodge, well equipped."
We had a problem with one of the showers but the on site wardens came and looked at it very quickly. Also fixed a couple of other minor problems. Could not ask for better service. Would book again without any reservations. Very nice eggs from the on site chickens !
Fabulous pleased you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate your understanding we do always try our best. Many thanks for your feedback. Best regards, All at Twelve Oaks. Property Owner

"We were blown away as soon as we saw Birch Lodge then we went inside."
Wow, it was even better than the photos on Sykes Cottages website. An extremely spacious and beautiful lodge with brilliant facilities. Breathtaking views and situated on a beautiful and amenable Twelve Oaks Farm Caravan Park. Visited surroundings areas all within 25 minutes all so beautiful and Trago Mills gardens were amazing . I’m mobility impaired and found the steps onto the decking too high so the Twelve Oaks supplied extra paving slabs to add height . They also lent me a shower mat on request. Couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ve booked again for next year but with a lodge with a ramp. We would recommend Birch Lodge to able bodied people as it’s stunning and spacious with outstanding views.
Thank you for your lovely review we do our best and great to hear it's appreciated hope all goes well and you will be running up that ramp next year. Warm regards, All at Twelve Oaks. Property Owner

"Great welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, dog treats & poo bags."
The most devine chocolate cup cakes.
-
"Lovely property with good access to all areas."
Lodge itself was quiet and comfortable with everything in good condition and clean. Slept well on the comfy beds. The only issue we had was that we feel the master bedroom could have some blinds in the window as the lodge next door looks directly into the room. There are curtains but you don’t want to have to keep these closed all the time. Would return and thanks for the welcome pack.
Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed staying at the property. Property Owner

"Seven Oaks is a fantastic place to stay, it has all you need and more."
A quite place to rest, also close to all facilities, Restaurants, City center, shopping, Golf courses/driving and quite a few historic and tourist places to visit. Most of all the host at Seven Oaks was very cooperative and supportive at all times, ready to help.

"We'll equipped, clean, modern, well appointed, everything you need ."
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

"The property was beautiful and cozy, actually much larger than it looks in the pictures."
Spotlessly clean. We booked in for Christmas and the owners had put a nice big Christmas tree and decor in the lodge which made us feel very homely. The kitchen was fully equipped for making a wide spread of Christmas meal. The fresh eggs, milk, dog biscuits was a lovely gesture by the owners. We reached the property outside the office hours, but the owner was very approachable and friendly and helped us in finding the property and keys. It was mostly raining during our stay so couldn't enjoy the views outside but on the day we left, sun finally came out and we saw the beautiful mountains and panoramic scenery from the deck. I wish we could extend our stay further, but we are definitely going to book this property again in future.

-
"The chalet & area around was well maintained & spotless."
The owners & staff were very approachable & helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful week with our Granddaughter, who was equally impressed..
-
"Birch lodge was great and exceeded expectations."
Really nice decking area that was fully enclosed allowing for us to enjoy it with the dog. The views over the hills were beautiful. The whole lodge was really well furnished and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The little extras like the fresh eggs from the farm and homemade cake were special touches. Staff are friendly and helpful. The vibe on the site in general was nice and welcoming. We were only there for the weekend but could happily have spent much longer. As well as being on a great site for facilities it’s also a great base for exploring the wider area.
-
"The mattresses were not comfy had bad back rest of the week."
Need to be more firmer. Apart from that the lodge was lovely.
-
