"Friendly welcome and very accommodating"
-
"Fabulous. We totally loved our stay, Awe have family and friends who live near by , we showed the cottage off to them, they too loved it, and said they would tell their other family & friends that visit from time to time, all about here."
Les and Sue so friendly, lovely welcome and welcome pack , “nice touch. They mainly left us to our own devices, but we’re available if needed. We liked that some places can be too pushy and need to know that we liked their accommodation. To us this is where they should be able to rely on good feed back. So let me say once again FABULOUS stay .We would love to return again.

"It was perfect, everything you need the garden for our dog was perfect & the use of 2 fields to walk the dog outstanding."
Mapped walks also great, the views & surrounding area was stunning. Comfortable furniture, bed was comfortable if a little low. All appliances worked well. Would stay again in a heartbeat. If I was being picky Wi-Fi is a little slow but your on holiday so just wait a while.

"The cottage was perfect, exceptionally clean and had everything you needed."
The provisions left for us in the fridge was a welcome find! The garden was perfect for the dogs and the use of the field opposite also. Lovely quiet area but only 10 mins in the car to either Chard or Axminster. Great communication from the owners. Can’t fault it.
-
"We have just returned from a fantastic week at Honey Bee Retreat."
The property was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. A very welcome cream tea and biscuits when we arrived along with treats for our dog. The enclosed rear garden was great for our dog and well equipped with furniture for us to sit out and enjoy the wonderful views. The adjacent dog walking field was fantastic and it meant we could exercise our dog before taking her out in the car to explore the area. A great central base to explore Devon, Dorset and Somerset. Thanks for a lovely stay. We hope to come back again soon.
-
"Wonderful accommodation, second to none."
Really spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely peaceful location, great place for exploring the coastal areas of East Devon and Dorset.
-
"Lovely clean and comfortable accommodation."
Garden is great with fantastic views across the countryside. Sue and Les were great hosts and always very chatty and accommodating. Lovely place to have a beak and especially good if you have a dog with you.
-
"Lovely cottage and very pleasant owners good communication great area for sightseeing loved the little garden very well maintained and clean property."
Problem for us was the very low bed also the one in the kitchen very soft mattress so even though a relaxing break didn't sleep well if these were addressed would be perfect!
-
"A lovely property in an excellent location."
Spotless and very well equipped. Very friendly owners. The mattress was slightly too firm so you may want to consider a mattress protector if you want something a bit softer, but this was a very minor point in a lovely stay.
-
"Fabulously clean."
Very friendly and helpful owners with good suggestions for walks and places to eat. Easy parking - don't be put off by the narrow lane to access - its very short and there are passing places.
-
"Very well equipped house."
A home for a home. Could recommend it to everyone. Very nice owners very helpful and friendly. Hope te come back sone

"Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at the Honey Bee & would definitely return."
The peace & quiet was wonderful. Our accommodation was excellent & very spacious considering we had our Great Dane with us ! Prior to going I contacted the owners as I needed extra freezer space . They were able to provide me with a table top freezer for a very small cost of £10 for the week which I was more than happy with . There are two folders containing information of places to go , pubs , restaurants etc & many beautiful walks . The owners Sue & Les have done an amazing job throughout & have thought of everything that you may need whilst there . One of the best places I have stayed . I Highly recommend the Honey Bee & will definitely return. Only downside was having to come home ! Thank you Les .

"This is a lovely property, spec very high, garden was great, full sun, walks from the door."
The owners friendly and keen to offer advice. Lots to do in the area.
-
"This has to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in clean comfortable with a lovely patio garden seating and a barbecue."
Nice big open field for the dog to run around in,and close to beaches. And a very warm welcome from the owners plus a nice little welcome pack.

"We had a great stay at Honey Bee Retreat!"
The cottage was very nice, with a lovely garden that we loved to sit in after spending the day walking with the dog. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and gave us a lovely welcome! The only feedback we would give is that the sofas were a bit firm and not the comfiest (a footstool would be a great addition). But this wouldn’t stop us staying again! We will book again :)

"We highly recommend Honey Bee cottage - it’s a real home from home."
Sue and Les are very welcoming hosts and they’ve really thought of everything you might need. The cottage is beautifully furnished and is in an excellent location. We easily explored Dorset, Devon and Somerset. Beautiful Lyme Regis and the gorgeous Sandy beach is just a short drive away. All in all a fabulous stay. We hope to return in the future.
-
"Beautifully created holiday let, located at the end of a farm lane, 20 mins drive from Lyme Regis."
Converted 2 years ago, still feels newly made, lovely design touches, very clean, well equipped (but no dishwasher). Stayed with our 2 daughters and small dog for a week. Internal space perfect for a couple but too small for 4 of us. Private garden was lovely, well fenced in for the dog with beautiful view of surrounding hills, but worth noting grass was fake which makes cleaning up after the dog a little tricky! Overall a lovely stay.
-
"The cottage was equipped with everything we could possibly need and the owners Les & Sue could not have been more friendly and helpful."
-
"This cottage is modern, clean & comfortable everything you need for a weeks stay."
The owners fields for the dogs run around is added bonus. Owners are lovely & helpful anything you need no problem. Lovely villages around to visit with Weymouth & Exmouth only an hours drive . Can’t wait to return

"Sue and Les were lovely and were so helpful without being intrusive."
Their recommendations certainly enhanced our holiday. Having the field to walk our dog off lead early in the morning was lovely. The views in the area are beautiful.
-
"The shower was slightly smaller than expected, however the rest of the cottage was excellent."

"We were made really welcome at the cottage."
The owners are really friendly and very kind, leaving a bottle of wine and basic shopping for us and our dog on arrival. The cottage is beautiful and In a perfect location. We have had a great week and would definitely book this cottage again.

"We were so lucky to be the first ones ever in this beautiful cottage."
It was spotless with excellent facilities. Pretty little garden with gas bbq which we made the most out of. The milk, eggs and loaf of bread when we arrived were a lovely touch. Sue and les greeted us and were happy to show us around and have a chat. We just wanted to have a relaxing break which we certainly did in this amazing accommodation. We were very happy to stay here and would Come back.
