These include Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor with its rugged scenery, Lydford Gorge, the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Morwellham Quay and RHS Rosemoor. Plymouth and Exeter are both easily accessible, as is Launceston, with its castle, the ancient capital of Cornwall. Golf, cycle paths and riding can be found locally and fishing, sailing and other activities can be found at nearby Roadford Lake. Explore the nearby town of Holsworthy, home to a fantastic selection of independent stores, eateries, and pubs. Visit in the summer months for the Holsworthy Show, showcasing the best of local produce and entertainment. To the north lies the picturesque town of Bude, renowned for its golden sand and rolling surf, providing the perfect spot for a day at the beach.
