"I had a fabulous stay at Seashore."
I was very happy to see the sea view from both the bedroom and from the dining area. The whole set of apartments have a communal stairway but there wasn't any noise at all coming from any of the other flats. The position was so central to amenities and more importantly the beach. The flat itself was very pleasant with everything you could want. I felt very comfortable there. There were however, a few cobwebs about. My only concern is the parking spot. It is clear to find but is on a steep slope so make sure that you put your car in first gear to avoid a rolling car!

"Lovely apartment in a good location clean and tidy with everything you need for your stay."
Was nice to hear the waves breaking in the morning and evening. We will definitely be looking at returning.

It was a lovely flat but unfortunately the maintenance needed updating on a couple of things and it needed cleaning under the bed
Hi Allison, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am sorry Seashore fell below your expectations in terms of cleaning and maintenance. Our current housekeeper has been with us for several years and normally get's excellent scores for the cleanliness of the apartment, so any slip here on his part is very unusual. We're down here for this week and next and the apartment was sparkling clean when we arrived. I've had a good look around the apartment (as I always do when we come to stay) and the only maintenance issue I can find is the missing (broken) bathroom cabinet door. Not sure when that happended, but I've ordered a new cabinet and will fit it before we leave next weekend. I am sorry things weren't 100%, but I hope these issues didn't adversely impact your stay at Seashore and in Woolacombe. Kindest regards, Andy Property Owner

"This is my second stay at Seashore and it was as great as ever, clean, well maintained with everything you need."
Its location is perfect for beach, bars and restaurants. I love Woolacombe and hopefully will be back next year. Thanks to Andy, the owner, for keeping in touch to check all was well.

Second time we’ve stayed at Seashore and would happily go there again which says it all really Clean, comfortable and with good facilities Small hiccup on arrival over the preparation which was dealt with immediately and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

"Excellent location and views."
Would recommend. Very clean and well sourced .We were well informed about key collection.

"This is one of the best apartments I have stayed at in the South-west."
On arrival everything was clean and extremely well maintained. The owner had contacted me to say unfortunately the WiFi was down but he arranged for someone to call and it was rectified. My stay in Woolacombe was really enjoyable, due in many ways to the apartment and its proximity to the beach. I hope to be staying there again when I visit Woolacombe and highly recommend it.
Hi Roger, Very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your patience and understanding with the Plusnet Broadband issue. We hope to see you again in the future. Cheers, Andy Property Owner

"We had a great holiday in an excellent apartment."
It was well equipped, clean and comfortable in an unbeatable position. We had one maintenance issue which was resolved speedily and efficiently - thank you.
-
"The apartment was exactly as it was shown in the photographs on the website!"
It was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable! It was situated directly across the road from wonderful Woolacombe Beach and we even had a partial sea view from the lounge! Outside there were sun loungers which were perfect for a spot of sunbathing during the day and sipping a glass of wine in the evening watching the sun going down!

"The Apartment had a lovely cozy feel from the moment we walked in."
The sea views were better than expected and the attention to detail with pictures and table wear matching the seaside theme did not go unnoticed. A wonderful week.

"Would 100% recommend to anyone."

"Another delightful stay at Seashore."
A beautiful apartment, well presented and equipped, clean and tidy. Lovely weather too so plenty of surfing and coastal walks. We have already booked for July 23.

"It was everything you could want in accommodation and more, very modern cleanliness the layout the extra touches hairdryer, the view, and much more I would not hesitate in booking this property again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Woolacombe, the location of the apartment was fantastic, the layout was good, I used to come every year as a child to the apartments within this building so I knew what to expect so I was very excited to return but unfortunately I have to share the sad side of the experience, I was so disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the apartment, especially when visiting with my 2 year old daughter, a draw handle was broken upon arrival leaving a sharp screw sticking out, under the bed was full of dust, sand and dirt, there was cutlery in the draw with food on them still, I just feel overall disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment."
It also upset me that I received a phone call from Sandpiper the day after our departure date insisting I move my car from out of the apartment car parking space when we had left 2 days prior, it wasn’t my car but this phone call left me upset from the tone of how I was spoken to. I would absolutely love to come back but would just hope it would be cleaned to a better standard, sorry for being negative!
Hi Megan, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, albeit disappointing to read. The feedback from the guest before was 100/100, so clearly the changeover and housekeeping didn’t go as it should have. We use the apartment regularly ourselves and pride ourselves on ensuring it is kept in very good order (we were last down for a week over May half-term). We have been working with Sandpipers for the past 5 years and have always felt they provided an excellent service to our guests. I have noted all your feedback and have discussed it with them. Obviously, there is no excuse for dirty cutlery or for not cleaning under the bed! I’m very sorry about the broken handle and I can only assume it was not spotted by the house keepers, nor reported by the people who broke it! Health and safety is very important to us, and for us all and I am pleased to hear that the issue was spotted by the housekeeper at the changeover after you left and has been fixed. Did you get a chance to report the problem to Sandpipers? The issue with the car parking sounds very unfortunate indeed and I can only apologise from us and on behalf of Sandpipers for the upset caused. However, I gather you left the apartment 2 days early and didn’t return the apartment keys to the keylock. This meant the housekeeper could not gain access on the very busy Saturday morning for changeover. As a car was in the apartment’s parking space they had understandably assumed you may have not left yet and had taken the keys out with you. I spoke the person who spoke to you, and they advised they did not insist you move the car, as you told them it was not yours. Albeit no excuse for taking a tone with you, but I think they were frustrated they couldn’t gain access to the apartment and to discover you’d left the keys inside and that you had left the apartment unlocked and unsecure for two days. I appreciate that there is a shared access door for the 9 apartments, so our apartment was not left open to the public, but it was left unlocked and unsecure, which is very disappointing, as I am sure you can appreciate. I hope that despite the issues with the apartment you had an enjoyable week in Woolacombe. My parents first took me there as a baby and we ‘ve been taking our two sons (now 10 & 11) there since they were babies too (we’re down in August). The beach is such a great place for kids. With kind regards, Andy & Angharad (Owners of Seashore) Property Owner

"Beautiful apartment just across the road from the beach."
Well looked after and well stocked with all the things you need for a holiday. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.
-
"The Seashore apartment was just what we expected."
It is an excellent location just across the road from Woolacombe Beach. I have nothing but praise for the apartment however the 6pm check-in is quite late as we had to hang around the whole day waiting to get into it. Also the parking is incredibly tight space at the bottom of a very very steep driveway and when car behind parks to far forward it made parking ridiculous to the point where I misjudged the space and steepness on arrival and in doing so damaged my car. I appreciate that's my fault but if parking was better or you had access to any of the empty easier spaces then perhaps I wouldn't have damaged my car.

"Even though we’d seen the photos, the accommodation definitely had the wow factor."
It was very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. The off-road parking was a big plus although a little challenging as the slope is quite steep. There were instructions in the property on how to contact the maintenance company but this wasn’t necessary during our stay. Please note though that no instructions on the heating system were found. Our weather was somewhat mixed. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the South West coastal path to Croyde Bay and hired electric bikes to cycle the Tarka Trail between Barnstaple and Great Torrington (pre-booking is highly recommended) - great fun and a useful exercise as I wanted to try one out before being treated for a big birthday! The beach, of course, is stunning and a 3 mile paddle to Putsborough very enjoyable. When the sea mist came down we took the 31 bus into Ilfracombe. Very pleasant but the town is looking somewhat run down. The only tip I would give if you are hoping to eat out is to do some research and book in advance. We were lucky enough to get reservations at the Beach House for two excellent meals and Stoned in the car park does a mean takeaway pizza! A very enjoyable week’s holiday!

"Fantastic location!"
Excellent communication from owner regarding dish washer and bedding.
-
"Location is perfect as overlooking beach and very close to all the local amenities."
The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped, the only criticism we have was the mattress on the bed is so hard which didn’t make for a good nights sleep & the sofa bed wasn’t very good either. Shame about the 6pm check in time would of been better earlier been though the check out time was 9am.

"We had a great stay in seashore."
Very comfortable with everything provided that you could possible need. So close to beach and amenities.
-
"For us everything was good, with plenty of sun."
The location can't be better and Seashore has all you need for a nice comfortable holiday they have tried to think of everything. The bath is not full size but the bed is BIG and soft. Unfortunate the TV aerial didn't work for a couple of days for the whole building but we got programs on line so that was not a big inconvenience. Altogether a nice place!

"Seashore is one of the nicest holiday Letts that we have stayed in."
The location is superb. The apartment was decorated and furnished to a high standard. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
-
"The apartment was bright, roomy and clean."
Facilities were excellent although some appliances were worn and noisy. We particularly appreciated the lack of clutter and good storage arrangements. Very well placed for all the attractions and facilities in Woolacombe. Being set back from the front of the building meant that the apartment was quiet and peaceful.

"Lovely little Apartment ."
. Near to town centre ...well equipped.. Comfortable beds. Would be good if the 2 single beds could be used as one double bed.
-
"We have just returned from a lovely week in north devon."
Our holiday apartment was perfect and absolutely spotless. The only down side is being unable to check in until 6pm and having to check out at 9am, but I understand this is due to needing more time for stricter cleaning regimes. The property owners clearly maintain and look after their property well as it was absolutely beautiful and in an amazing location just across from the beach and town. Will definitely be booking this apartment again in the future.
-
"Lovely apartment, tastefully furnished and in excellent location for beach and shops, restaurants."
-
"The fridge was not working properly, the motor was running constantly (quite noisy) but the temperature did not get below 10 degrees."
My husband has medication which needs to be kept cold so this was something of a worry.
-
"Fabulous apartment, modern, really well equipped, perfect location, if we are in this area again we will definitely be booking here."
