The owners had thought of all the small details to make our stay a ‘home from home’ and were very welcoming and helpful. The garden was very safe and dog friendly with a table and chairs for the humans to sit out and enjoy . The information pack was very well presented and very comprehensive . The welcome pack of wine and cake was very much appreciated . This is a great location for exploring all that Dorset has to offer, beautiful countryside, the sea, historic architecture and much much more. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Cosy Nook.

It is also central to visit Swanage, Weymouth,Poole, Dorchester and Shaftesbury all places we enjoyed seeing. We know there are many other places to see and to visit in this area and we look forward to returning in the future to this lovely area to explore more of what Dorset has to offer. • "We had a lovely stay at Cosy Nook Cottage - it really was perfect."

Winterborne Kingston is a pretty village with a great pub - The Greyhound- just down the road , it was very handy for an evening meal and we even joined in with the Coronation celebrations there! Lots of places to visit close by - the week went in a flash. We were unable to park our car - Focus Estate - as the road was too narrow to manoeuvre it in but we found a parking place close by the Church - a smaller length car would not have been a problem. No hesitation in recommending this cottage

The attention to detail at this property was exceptional, and we cannot fault it. The hosts had thought of everything, including decorating the cottage for Christmas and providing a lovely welcome hamper, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The secure garden and some great walks on the doorstep make this a brilliant option for dog owners too. Perfectly located to explore all that this beautiful part of the country has to offer, we would highly recommend Cosynook Cottage - our only regret was not staying longer!

  • "What a lovely cottage to stay in."

So well equipped and in a quiet rural location. The garden is perfect for a small dog, which we have. The cottage is very comfortable and within a short distance to both the A31 and A35 allowing trips to the coast a breeze. The off-road parking is a challenge initially but became 2nd nature after a few attempts. It would say anything larger than a family hatchback would be much more challenging. The only thing I would recommend is for a stairgate to be fitted, especially as the stairs are directly in front of the front/porch door.

.. of 13 comments in the guest book this year, 6 were critical of the parking ...nothing on the website suggested there would be any difficulty, and the photographs of the drive are out of date and misleading (the neighbour has erected a fence alongside the drive, adding to the problems) - cottage information definitely needs updating.
