  • "Lovely property, high standard of cleanliness."

Our only gripe would be that we couldn't get in until 4pm (3pm would have made a big difference) and had to be out by 10am. The village was lovely, great pub and the Kitchen was a fabulous place to eat.

  • "The perfect getaway for a 50th birthday."

The cottage was beautiful, spacious and extremely well equipped. The hot tub was lovely! There is a gastro pub 5 minutes walk away and a brilliant farm shop, cafe and bar the other end of the village. We will return. Can't recommend enough!

  • "Fabulous property."

We really enjoyed our stay. Beds very comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi and table football. Very peaceful setting in a beautiful party of the country. Lovely and clean and was a nice surprise to find a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. We will definitely be rebooting. Highly recommend.

  • "The house was beautiful and facilities amazing."

However we booked this cottage as it stated it had an enclosed garden, taking 2 toddlers and a six year old this sounded perfect. However the garden was open, onto a road. This made going outside extremely dangerous and made the holiday a lot harder work than needed to be.

We can only apologise for making your holiday difficult due to the inaccurate description. Unfortunately your description of opening onto a road and it being extremely dangerous is rather unfair considering it is a dead end and only to access the other 5 houses on the lane. We do have a chain that goes across the driveway but appreciate that this may not be sufficient for some adventurous tots. Apologies once again. Property Owner

  • "Visited July, 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 young children."

Excellent property so well equipped-lots of things for kids to do-hot run, pool table, Xbox, lots of board games which we enjoyed playing as a family every evening. It was lovely having things like a coffee machine and lots of pods. It looks better than the pictures, so well presented and lovely touch of the bottle of Prosecco in fridge (of which there are 2 fridge freezers so was great for a large family stay). Location also great for trips to Longleat, Wookey hole and Bath. Would definitely recommend and return if visiting that area again.

Had everything we needed, it was a bonus to have the games room for us over 60s to relive our youth.

  • "Thank you so much - we had a wonderful stay at the old schoolrooms and found the property to be absolutely perfect for our young children."

The space was well thought out, we had everything we could have needed and it was spotlessly clean. We found the touches such as hot tub towels and Prosecco to be so thoughtful and made it a really special stay. We would certainly recommended this property and would love to return, a weekend did not feel like long enough!

  • "The property was very clean with all the creature comforts and more besides."

My only recommendation would be for black out blinds in the bedrooms and maybe a tumble dryer, but these are only very minor things and in no way detracted from the property. The village was beautiful as were most of the surrounding villages as well. We had a great time and the adults made great use of the pool table whilst the children loved all of the games. We would definitely recommend this property. Can’t comment on the owners as we had no reason to contact them but all instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

! Myself, partner, parents, sister & brother in law stopped here for my 30th birthday. 6 people and not one of us could find fault! The house is so well kitted out, there is everything you could possibly need! The downstairs space is incredible from the kitchen and dining room, games area, lounges and the outside not to mention the hot tub!! We actually spent and entire day at the house because it was such a nice space to relax in and just chill (something we rarely do when away). We used Welton Cabs (01761 417600) for a trip into bath on my actually birthday; we prebooked this the day before and they were reasonably priced, reliable and friendly. We also used the park and ride to go into Bath which was also extremely accessible from the properly. The house was also immaculately clean and peaceful! Thank you so much for such a fantastic stay!
