"Lovely cottage in a handy position for the town, and a good base for visiting Historic Houses/Gardens/ and coastline."
Spacious comfortable lounge, bedrooms also. Main bathroom - over bath electric shower - excellent. Private parking would have been good but we were always able to find a space in the lane to park, or plenty of town parking nearby. An enjoyable week! Alan &Gill.

"Brilliant stay."
Beautiful cottage. Would stay again

"The cottage was very impressive and we had all we needed."
The only odd thing was a glass door and curtain for one of the bedrooms - would be better with a plain door. The pull switch in the bathroom stopped working but was fixed the following day when we were out. - very efficient.
Thank you for your nice comments about the cottage and we are pleased it had everything you needed. We may change the quirky glazed door and curtain one day, but that would mean losing the lovely daylight that comes into the landing and down the stairs, a tough decision! Property Owner

"This year was the 4th stay at Fiddlesticks and the cottage is just about ideal for us."
The location is hard to beat with walks from the doorstep and lovely pubs, shops and market square minutes walk away. The Dorset countryside and coast are places/areas to return to time and again.

"We were delighted with the accommodation and facilities and could find no fault whatsoever."
We will definitely be booking a week next year at Fiddlesticks Cottage and would recommend the Cottage to our friends. Beaminster is a delightful town and people are very friendly. We look forward to our next visit.
Thank you for your kind comments. We are very pleased that Fiddlesticks Cottage was to your liking and it's wonderful that you would recommend it to your friends, thank you very much. Property Owner

"The cottage was vey lovely , very well equipped, and the couches and chairs were very comfortable indeed!"
Thank goodness for the electric stove in the living room as the week we stayed there, the temperatures outside were freezing. Having the heat go off during the day meant we had to rely on the electric heater more than normal, The garden was the only let down of the property. The levels are a bit dangerous, particularly for my partner who has a visual disability. Also, having no where for a dog to pee and poo is a drawback. Thankfully grass was nearby where we had to take our dogs to in the morning and evening. Overall we enjoyed our stay and really loved exploring the area.
Thankyou for your lovely feedback, we are so pleased you loved our cottage. We do include handy information in the guest welcome folder about how to adjust the cottage heating, etc and are always on hand to help during your stay. We do show the different levels of the garden in the photos, for guests to be made aware of this before they book. We hope to welcome you back to Dorset again soon. Property Owner

"Have been coming here for years, to visit family and always feel at home."
Think the facilities would benefit from the addition of a hairdryer....and new pillows! Shower in main bathroom still poor, but the one downstairs is great. Lovely, comfortable stay, as always, thankyou. Karen
It was nice to hear from you again Karen and we’re pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Management verified that there was actually a hairdryer, so we are sorry you didn’t find it. Pillows get refreshed each autumn, but this will be a bit later this season than for your stay. Property Management also verified that the bathroom shower works as it is supposed to in that it is an electric shower, not the sort that runs with more pressure off the boiler. We notice that you have already booked again for next Spring, thank you for your continued custom. Property Owner

"We had a great week at Fiddlesticks cottage."
It was the perfect location for country and coastal walks. The cottage was a home from home after a day’s walking.
-
"The cottage was comfortable & well equipped."
The position was central to Beaminster but was in a quiet location with nice walks available from the house. Would definitely recommend to others.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Fiddlesticks cottage."
It was beautifully decorated and well equipped. There were lovely walks from the front door and Beaminster was an ideal spot to visit places in Dorset. We were concerned about the lack of handrail on the steps up to the patio and along the edge of the patio. From a Health and Safety point of view, it was an accident waiting to happen. We are fit and healthy people but anyone with a mobility issue should be warned.
Thank you for your kind remarks about the cottage and we are pleased you really enjoyed your stay. As regards the two patio steps, we have asked Dream Cottages to update the cottage description to reflect the situation depicted in the photographs. Property Owner

"An excellent cottage in a delightful location."
Facilities were very good, with access to wi fi, Netflix and U-tube. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment, including a dishwasher. There was also the well-appointed laundry room. On the downside, the upstairs shower was no more than a trickle and the downstairs shower head kept falling apart. the main complaint was no parking, which was advertised. However, putting those small details aside it was in all a delightful stay.
We are pleased you enjoyed the cottage and had a nice stay and thank you for your helpful feedback. The upstairs shower is the electric type and not boosted by the boiler, but we will ask Maintenance to ensure the shower head is free of limescale. The issue with the downstairs shower is news to us, apologies; it’s possibly been dropped and will be resolved. The tiny town of Beaminster has ancient roots and guests are invited to reconcile the quaint setting with the advertised roadside parking; this is on the minor public road at the front of the property, or nearby. "Cottage was absolutely lovely."
Set in a quiet road. Everything we could have possibly wanted was there. Had a really family feel. Lovely little personal touches. Can’t wait to visit again. Would thoroughly recommend

"Great Cottage in a very clean and well equipped condition."
Parking is mentioned a lot but it’s street parking and local shop workers park during the day but space later in the day. A resident parking system would be ideal but no real issue and will return
Thank you for your kind and helpful feedback and we’re pleased you would like to return. Property Owner
